Jest wiele bardzo dobrych wykonań tego dzieła ale właśnie to ,pod niezawodną batuta Maestro Stryji jest w tych tempach ,które przekonują i dają się rozsmakować w tej muzyce. Soliści -mistrzostwo świata !Chór naszej Filharmonii pokazał znowu wielką klasę . Polecam !!!

There are two great Stabat Mater in the XXth Century, those of Poulenc and Szymaowski. Szymanowski simplified his writing in his final manner, but here it is more than simplified, it is rather ascetic. We have here pure lines of voices or of melodies of woodwinds, with discrete harmonies in the background. This gives to that Stabat Mater a feeling of interiority which makes it quite noticeable. A few vocal scores are added to theis Stabat Mater to fill up the CD. They are quite interesting too. This Satabat Mater is an unmissable masterwork of the religious music of the XXth century.
