Footage shows recovery operations of a completely upside down Russian 2S19 "Msta-S" self-propelled howitzer artillery vehicle using a T-90 main battle tank and a chain connected to the track.
The Msta-S is a 152.4mm self-propelled howitzer built on a T-80 tank hull and powered by a T-72 tank engine. The gun-vehicle system entered service with the Soviet military in 1989.
The T-90 Russian main battle tank entered service in 1993. It is a modernized variant of the T-72B and uses a 125 mm main gun. The tank has various countermeasures against anti tank projectiles including a combination of steel and composite armor, reactive, and an infrared ATGM jamming system.
