The lyrics to Shine if anyone is interested: SHINE Words and music by Daniel Arlie Climb aboard. To never mind. No one knows where they’re going. And there ain’t no signs. Down the road it’s all behind. No one cares where you came from but you’re right on time. Going where there ain’t no rules. Keep you deaf, dumb and blind. There ain’t no one round here laying down the law just to keep you in line. I’m gonna... Shine it on. Well it’s been see no evil, hear no evil. Deaf dumb and blind. Stealing dreams from beggar’s cups. Sticking prayers inside a jar. Taking pot shots at the moon. And shooting down stars. Trade it all for anything. Leave everything else behind. May end up with nothing. Oh, but it’ll all be mine. I’m gonna... Shine. Shine it on. Well it’s been speak no evil, think no evil. Deaf dumb and blind. No one else in charge here. Last stop on the line. Everyone is on their own. Don’t need no reason and don’t need no rhyme. (solo) Climb aboard. To never mind. No more see no evil, hear no evil. Deaf dumb and blind. I’m gonna Shine. Shine it on Well no more see no evil, hear no evil. Deaf dumb and blind. Shine it on. Shine it on.

You can instantly tell it's T-Ride. The production, the playing, the vocals, the song writing, the magic. Wonderful Stuff. Such a shame Nirvana and Grunge came along and changed the direction of 90's Rock. Dan Reed Network, S.P.Y.S, Night Ranger, Living Color, Mayday, Mr Mister, Whitford St. Holmes, Glenn Hughes, they were all my youth.

T-Ride was like a funked up weird amalgam of Queensryche, Dream Theater, and Nine Inch Nails, with a driving beat you can tap your foot to... to a degree. There really was nothing like them. LOVE that band. Wish Dan Arlie & Geoff Tyson would buckle down and put together a new album, or at least work out whatever legal issues they have with the drummer so they could release this one. This is killer, killer stuff! It's a damn tragedy it never got published. 🤘😎🤘
@NDHFilms3 жыл бұрын
I read a Geoff Tyson interview where he implied it was a very ugly breakup.
@XMattingly3 жыл бұрын
@@NDHFilms Yep, the drummer held rights to the band’s recordings, and more or less treated the other two like hired studio musicians (that was technically true at least in Geoff’s case). I think Dan got screwed the worst, because he was with the project from the beginning - which I believe they spent years writing, recording, re-recording and mixing, and let’s face it - was pretty much irreplaceable as a vocalist/instrumentalist. So the story goes that they had their follow up album pretty much in the can, had a falling out for whatever reasons and as a final dick move the drummer locked up the recordings and refused to release them. Dan Arlie pretty much disappeared after that, which is a damn shame because he’s frickin’ _insanely_ talented. I actually hope he’s doing ok.
