You always seem to be extremely happy, and its great to watch a couple having fun. My last trip to Turkey was to Kuşadası - 1992. All the bars were playing Ace of Base - All That She Wants,. Everyone was very friendly, shopkeeper gave free tea and sometimes free Raki.

Oh M - yesterday was the opening of the centre and everyone of our Turkish family were there !! It was just perfect - the tears flowed and the support network for Seher grew ... I have never felt prouder !! So while visiting Istanbul, try to overnight nearby Bosphorus Straits 5 star hotels, you will get amazing impressions and feelings of worth to come and stay there again and again. Small towns 4 star and 5 star hotels' prices are very suitable just fraction of France or Italy. Eat in those hotels delicious, hygenic foods instead of outside. Affordable best city hotels are Ramada, Wyndham, Radisson, Hampton, Best Western Hotels. Turkish personnel with turkish monthly wages.

Hi - thanks for your message, we have quit our jobs and live on the rental of our house, and we use the money to travel. We live very frugally to be able to save to ship Trudy as each shipping will cost a minimum of £5,000 (Russia to US and then Canada to UK) so we are always careful as we are saving to be able to drive around the world. We are happy to do this and have chosen to live this way. Our budget is on our website.

Hi Easyrider 1 - Not all the driving ... but definitely 99% 😂😂. Chris is a much better video maker than van driver 🙌 and I am a much better van driver than video maker 🚐 . We like to share the life chores - but generally Chris does all the filming, web, tech, editing and ALL Social Media decisions .... and I like to drive, clean, answer messages and chill LOL - if it was any other way - we would not move and have no videos out LOL 🤗💐😉 Best wishes Marianne xx

Hey guys had a question about your residence permit in Turkey...saw that one of the Ikamet requirements is a lease contract with a permanent address. In future interested in traveling around like you guys are in the country..how were you able to make this work?...thanks

Hi John - as long as you have a contract for one month this is ok as you are allowed to travel around and visit areas. As you will be contributing to the economy as you go this is totally acceptable 🌺

How long can you keep your van in Turkey? Is it possible to park van up and fly back to uk then return 2or 3 weeks later?

Hi Stephen - 2. years and yes you can - but you have to fill in a customs form and hand it in when you fly out - pop into the customs office in any airport or ferry port to get a copy - we used the parking lot in Antalya when we flew to Georgia and they filled in the form for us and kept our van safe - it is a great service
