Stu, I don't know if you mentioned this in another video. Free Admiralty ship for you character. In orbit of Narendra is the Intrepid class science vessel, U.S.S. Sally Ride. Approach the ship, Hail them, Ask them for assistance. This adds the U.S.S. Sally Ride to your Admiralty ships roster, a science vessel with a 78 in Science. Cheers!

I'm currently using this ship on my new science officer Temporal Recruit, thanks to that nice giveaway. Got my lazy new character "build" on her, all free event gear and some TOS Connie rare beams. I intend to use her as my main ship for that character once I get up to speed. Seems fitting, all things considered. Eventually I might just throw full K-13 TOS phasers on her and use her as a fun TOS themed build.

Huh. A Scatter Volley build. On a Temporal Battlecruiser. Intriguing. Already thinking about budget options/replacements. Also, since you like running Engines at higher power, check out Redundant Antimatter Containment. Well, as a budget alternative to Repair Crews.

Context is for Kings is a good replacement for Self modulating fire. As for the lobi, always wait for a sale to buy items from the lobi store, the best sale is around christmas time with a 50% off sale. Torperdo pre-fire sequence should really replace that with Advanced Engines for the fight speed and turn rate.

Hii stu, love your videos, helped a lot on my builds on xbox, just wish I could see my DPS. Can you make a video if you have not done it already regarding reengeniring, diff mods and stuff like that ( stil not clear on that, cannot make heads or tails out of it) like should I go with DMG or something else on the weapons, gear, etc, on the ground and space items and yes I know not everything has a modifier. Also would love your thoughts on crafted items, cause on my Eng Fed toon every school is at 15 lvl but only crafted one omni so far and have a lot of crafting resources but don't know what to use them on, would love a video on that topic too.

Nice to see a new alternative to Aux2Bat. You say 100 mill for a Borg doff is too much but Boimler is going for 92 mill atm. I suppose you could probably pay that some days for 3 purple technicians though if you don't want to grind them out.

Nice build as usual, but with my all turret build I can afford to yawn a lot more while playing STO & that amount of comfortability sometimes just cannot be measured. :-) But I also don't even ever think about PvP.

She's a very nice ship and if you have the Ranger you can use the sweet TOS skin on her.

Wait you need another ship to get the tos skin? I was going to get this from the temporal starter pack and then get the fleet version for my new tos temporal recruit. I only want him to run tos ships if I can help it. Will the fleet version unlock the tos skin? I didn't see the tos version for sale anywhere in the zen store?

So with the torp in the back, wouldn't tac team 1 be a better choice, given its usability for repelling boarders and the slight boost you get from it (at least for us newer players)?

I really wish I bought the The Boimler Effect on two other toons when it was on sale for 160 lobi, I'll wait. You mentioned making, EC. I've been playing with the exchange for 4 days. This isn't a surefire method, I've averaged 600k to 1.5mil with level III crafted training manuals each. I stay away from Spec Qualifications except if Pilot is up. That only costs 17.5k EC and a PADD (2500 EC & 200 dil). I have a ton of PADDs, but the Dil you get from doing the research lab assignment daily pays for at least 6 a day. It's been a long time since I played WOW, I remember having fun with the market. So I'm trying it in STO. My STO 'auction alt' had 1000 EC Sunday, and now 60mil EC when I checked today. Just a thought, doesn't take a lot of time, and sometimes you post a loser. Great Vid!

Really depends on the day. I was selling Directed Energy Modulation III for around 780k+, then it stopped selling. The intelligence particle grenade was close to a million. I have never trained a BOFF with it, I don't understand it's value. It sells tho, LOL! I'm curious to see what the Command training manuals start selling at once players start claiming the Mirror Gagarin. I have a bunch in reserve. I'm not crafting gear for a while, I have 12 various Particle Field Exciters none w/ EPG, I may be doing something wrong.

I've got the fleet DOFFs. for crafting +30 & SCI at L20, a plus +5 DOFF has made more Ultras, crafting the PFE's is like playing craps. lol

Nice video. You should give it a try using a BO build + recursive shearing, entropic cascade, and chronometric inversion to proc your unconventional systems+controlled countermeasures. You can easily get on a TFO on advanced, some recursive shearing criting almost for a mil and I do that on a build cheaper, using an Eng, 99% F2P traits and gear.

I have an engineer who’s running BO and recursive shearing. She’s not on the Paladin (flying the Chronos) and my highest hit in a tfo was 820K+ something. Mind, the toon isn’t even at tier 5 rep yet and doesn’t have any lock box traits (other than hive mind for ground). BO can definitely be a lot of fun on a temporal ship hehe

decided to go for this build on a new toon i have (mega lol backstory btw) but wont have the lobi to buy the consoles. as im keeping it F2P i was wondering what to replace them with? any suggestions?

You did a great build for next to no real money input. But, you would have gotten more out if you would have replaced the Lukari rep console for either of these two: Console - Tactical - Counter-Command Multi-Conduit Energy Relay -or- Console - Universal - Hydrodynamics Compensator Reason: the Heavy Bio-molecular Phaser Turret AND one of those two consoles give you an extra 7.5% BONUS damage for the 2 piece set bonus, not counting the extra 2.5(2?)% bonus damage you will get for having rep at Tier 6. Regardless, that 7.5% BONUS (Cat2 for anyone else reading that doesn't know...as I'm dead certain MCStu knows what I'm saying) damage is WAY more than a Cat1 Phaser damage the Lukari console is giving you. And its a passive, so always active. Plus, the extra 3 power to engines on Hydrodynamics marginally improves your Phaser Quad Cannons (since they get use engine power also).

So I am curious. How do these builds and all the builds from other YT's perform outside of Infected The Conduit runs? All everyone is saying by running it is "this is potentially what you can get only in this TFO". It's been a pet peeve of mine cause the normal person actually runs other TFO's. Benefit of just running this TFO is it's short. Big spike in dps to start and short time of sustained DPS. For once I'd like to see other TFO runs to show potential. There are other short TFO's that could be easily run for parse. And as much as build tutorials are great and helpful I'd actually like to see a Piloting for dummies. Not the Skill Piloting but actually how to maneuver for best results. Again, Infected is a matter of move and park, shoot, move, park, shoot, etc. Most other TFO's require continuous moving so managing to position for best weapon spread is key.

These builds perform very well outside of ISA... ISA being one of the most continuous damage intensive TFOs. I do play the rest of the game, missions and TFOs with these exact builds. I will look in to putting together a piloting/positioning video. Thank you for the suggestion.

ERROR @ 34:20 to 34:40 Boff Control abilites under Uncontrolled Systems Trait does not require you to hit any target at all, unless that Boff ability requires a target to activate, like Jam Sensors. You can put AoE Control effects, like Emit Warp Bubble (from Broken Circle mission) or Viral Impulse Burst(Intel trainer) on auto-fire and it will lower your cooldown without any target ever being hit. Also, you DO NOT have to wait for one controlled effect to wear off, before getting an additional cooldown from a second controlled boff ability, because again, you do not have to effect a target at all. You just need to activate the skill.

With a good day to die trait, just toss “go down fighting” on spam bar hehe I do run 8 lock box traits for space on my rom tac alien though... But oh my is CSV fun! Especially on the Vaadwaur Jugg, or on a scimi. Need to try a CSV build on my Paladin one day, haven’t flown the ship much (and still trying to think what I want to do on the toons that do not have the Jugg)

I don't suppose anyone has any insight about how to adjust this for the legendary pilot warship, specifically, extra canon in front? if so, at the expense of skipping lorca torpedo, skipping the gamma rep 2 piece, or skipping a fireing haste?

I would add the dark matter torpedo from the disco rep to the front and drop the omni from the back.

The phaser cannon from the defiant you said costs around 70 to 90k dil but for me its at 125k. Is there something im missing to lower the cost? Also is it worth the dil? Thx for the build vid very helpful

Ok I did that but that’s the problem I do not see it is my inventory or ship yard inventory. So where do u look to find it when u claim it the ships

I am encountering an odd issue. I wonder if it is a display bug or an issue with my build. When I equip the Prolonged Engagement Phaser Dual Cannons, the damage listed drops about 1/2 compared to what was listed when the weapon is sitting in inventory. Example: In inventory, listed as 321 but when equipped lists as 145. This also happens with the torpedoes which drop from a listed 3100 to 1400... It does this with or without the console installed. When I place other weapons not associated with the prolonged engagement set, they behave as expected. I understand the weapons are weaker initially but improve during combat, but over 50% weaker is a bit much. I'm not able to match the build on the video as I am early enough in my grind so that I have practically no special rep unlocks. The only 'special' weapon set is this one, and it appears to be bugged.

Yep. Display Bug. Who'da Thunk... Hop into space and the PE weapons bumped up to almost double what they were showing in inventory. So. Yeah. (Hopefully THAT isn't a display bug, too. ^_~)

This was prior to the change when Boimler Effect has a chance to proc with every tractor beam pules, Now it just has the chance per activation.

MC Stu I have a question but the question is from last week video . how can I claim the ships . It is saying that my inventory is full . So I sell two of my ships and next it didn’t say my inventory is full so I claim them but I do not see the battle ship or the other one in my inventory or shipyard inventory so can u tell me or make a video about my situation. Or can u make a video when u claim ships from zen Shop .

After you claim the bundle from the promotions tab in the zStore then go to the ship tab to claim the ships
