Just wanted to take a moment to say....THANK YOU!!!!!.......I found myself in an uncomfortable situation on my bike this morning, (coming down a mountain, 1 lane road yet 2 way traffic, super tight curves, bumpy dirt road, on the side of a cliff, STEEP downhill......all I kept hearing is, Find the friction zone, Preload, and keep it loaded, Cover the rear brake!!!!!! Never could have safely completed that ride before your videos!!!!! Thank you again!

Today can't be better! Just the other day, i was saying i can't take these handlebars anymore. I called them to see how much it would cost to change out to the KST or the new style they have. I have a Indian challenger limited 2020. Brought the mid rise bar out the gate. You've never lied. The turning makes me as a president look goofy no matter how much i watch and practice from your videos 😂😂😂😂. Just yesterday came too close to my mailbox coming out the driveway. I'm ordering them right now. I just happened to look up handlebars for a Indian challenger 😂😂 today you make a video. Thanks a lot. That looks like Bronx river pelham bay station.

Great video Rob. You’re in a great position as you have the luxury of get three sizes to choose from. The rest of us have to make an educated guess what bars would fit, that’s unless there is an identical bike with the exact handlebars to try. But keep of the great work. D

Thank you Robert , really needed to see this , I'm on a 2023 tri-glide and I'm 5'9 and when we are going thru the mountain curves I'm beat up by the time we park . Not sure which bars to choose . They're pricey and I don't want to get the wrong set-up . Your video today inched me closer to understanding what may work better for me. Closer to me and a little higher than stock. Glad you found a solution. I checked out a couple Challengers yesterday, and I thought the stock bars seemed awkward like they were too far back from the triple clamp. Seemed odd almost like the steering on an old Harley 3 wheel golf cart, and the more you move the bars back, the more sweep travel (lock to lock) of the grips. I can see the geometry in the triple clamp on HD FL models making more sense in that regard than the Indian. Perhaps I'm just used to my Wing Tour which is a completely different front end, but it's the most comfortable bike out of the box that I've ever been on at 6'2".

Nice! I'm debating on whether to change the bars on that other bike I picked up a few weeks ago. I found a set of 8-inch apes that would make slow-speed riding more manageable. The stock bars are low to the tank and too close for my taste when going full lock on a turn. However, it is a dilemma, I have found them pretty comfortable when riding distances. So, I am thinking it over. That bike will be mostly used for my trips and long-distance day rides. The other bike will be mainly for slow-speed stuff on Sundays when I instruct riders, riding around town, and occasional out-of-town rides.

How do the Folsom +8 compare to the KST Comanche 14 inch? By tape measurin, the Plus 8 would be shorter than the KST 14s. With the KST, the height is good, but still too far forward, they are lowered as far down without hitting the tank.

I have a 2022 pursuit. I am only 5'10" and the handlebars seem like they are just a couple of inches too far away. i really don't what to put my hands way out in the wind. Because that is also uncomfortable. I am big into comfort at this point. I would like to know what the difference in the 4 and 8? Thanks Robert. Love your channel.

They look awesome Robert. A wise decision going with the +8. I was wondering if you could tell me how wide they are, end to end on the grips? I put custom 12" handle bars on and they feel very wide at 41" end to end. Plus, I don't think mine come back as far towards me, as the Folsom's do.

Big fan brother. Im ready to get the fulsom prison bars +8. Im 5’10. But what im seeing in the specs is the reach back is 15.5” that is the same as stock. So how are they closer to you than stock. Im also getting extended reach step up seat on my pursuit. So i will be even further back. But i will need the bars to come back further than stock. Can you explain how they are closer? I do see there is a RR set up that pulls back 17.5 inches. But only in +4. Thanks Boss

Thank you very much! Of you’re only 5’10”, you really don’t need an extended reach seat. I’m 6’1” and the stock seat with the Folsom Prison bars was just fine. The last thing I wanted was to be further away from the bars. I also had the bars lowered as much as possible, which brought them even closer to me.
