Goes beyond that, persuasion isn't mind control. I was in a sci-fi game playing a robot mercenary, we were transporting a scientist for basically the space mafia and got attacked by pirates and the scientist had been taken hostage. one pirate used an illusion to make himself look like the hostage. I find him and fail my save to see the illusion. Now up to this point my robot had been very much an HK-47 "Meatbags" kind of robot, hes LE with a lot of programming restraints that the DM and i came up with. The pirate keeps walking away from me, leading me towards an airlock. I keep telling him he needs to follow me and we need to leave and if he doesnt comply i will force him to leave. The dm said "He rolls a 23 persuasion check to get you to follow him." i roll an insight against him and fail, "Ok, i believe he wants me to follow him, i think he is the scientist, and i dont realize hes trying to trap me with the airlock. But I also think hes gone mad, he is directly disobeying orders to comply, putting both of us in further danger on an enemy vessel. He is now a threat to himself, thats enough to bypass protocol. I shoot him in the leg and will drag him back to the ship because i dont care what he wants in this scenario, and he has no authority to give me orders." It did become an argument at the table but then we did agree that persuasion isn't a spell and cant force you or convince you to do things out of character or harmful to yourself. There are spells specifically for that, like friends, charm person and dominate person.

She was probably influenced by all the anime/manga/light novel/web serial tropes that I mentioned and didn't have enough exposure to the _normal_ world. Without that broader cultural understanding, she probably thought that what she was doing was desirable in a _general_ context. She found out that day that it's desirable _only_ to people from her specific subculture, which is one so disjoint from normal sexual culture that people like yourself would even label it "strange" and "disgusting". I knew I had heard this story before. Once you got to the part where the other girl was giggling, I realized what story it was and the bit about her wearing the outfit sold it. Not sure when I heard this story before, I hadn't frequented these kinds of channels before, but yeah... still as creepy as the first time I heard it. Turning a simple, fun session with strangers (potentially friends) into some weird attempt at a setup is never okay. I don't think the DM could have handled it better. What 'Trish' did was pretty much the equivalent of an unsolicited dong pic except worse because he couldn't just put down a phone to get away. He took it quite well and, if anything, I'm suspicious of Rich. Rich's friend was sexually harassed and his response seems to have been to abandon his friend because of it (I may be wrong about Rich though, maybe there was more to it).
