IDEA: You should do a video where you shop separately and surprise each other with a meal they get to eat. It can be based on a theme or just what you think would go together into a good meal. Include an item that might challenge the other person or something you think they never had before.

For me its anything ramen, any type of noodle dish and or soup is just like heaven to me especially in cold weather like we are having now, and even in the 80's before i knew ramen was such a big deal in southeast asia and japan, i adding my own ingredients to it, like dropping a raw egg into the just finished broth and letting it poach for a few moments, bean sprouts, sometimes sliced sausage, bratwurst or polish, and of course differnt cheeses. Watching you guys really gets my ramen hungeries working overtime 😎

I had the same issue with miso ramen when I went to Japan. I thought it was just flavored like regular miso soup, so I never tried it over there, but actually it contains carefully selected miso blends, often amplified by special stocks and other things like garlic, shichimi togarashi, gochugaru or doubanjiang. Miso ramen is now one of my favorites.

Hand pulled noodles are amazing too, got to try that when I was in China and it was just amazing! Wish I could find hand pulled noodles in a restaurant here...
