I am a career diplomat and was thought this table etiquette over two decades ago and it’s really interesting to listen to you excellently recap that practical class we had many years ago. With respect to the red wine 🍷 glass part, I wish to add that one of the reasons why you hold the glass by the stem is also to avoid heating the wine in the glass with the warmth from your fingers and changing the taste and texture of the wine. Thought I should add this to your very interesting class. Please keep it up. I must confess however, that my cooking skills has improved tremendously courtesy of your programme. Please keep it up 👍🏾

You’re never to hold the wine glasses by the “cup.” The reason you always hold it by the stem is to not warm up the wine which changes the flavor.

Everything were spot on and correct 👌🏽 funny how I do all these etiquette without even being taught as a kid. The only time (in my opinion), when you can tuck your napkin around your neck is if you’re served seafood 🦞 as it’ll prevent the splashing etc. men do this mostly anyways (perhaps cuz of their suit) but a high class restaurant should have a bib for your neck (but not always I guess). Oki bye, I’m a fan now😍

Hello there. I just came across your channel and I love you content particularly your videos on etiquette. Just want to share an additional reason why all wine glasses should be held at the stem is so that one’s hand does not affect the temperature of the wine. Whether it be red (usually served at room temperature) or white which is usually served cooler, one should keep it at those temperatures to enjoy the full flavour and noted of the wine.

Give your life to Christ guys 😎 Spread positivity in the name of the Lord. Together, we can make a difference in this fallen world we live in today! Don't forget that Jesus is coming back to take His people and to judge both the living and the dead. Stay blessed and share the gospel of Jesus Christ, the one true King. Try new good things.

And this has what to do with this video? You do realize that by this spam type Jesus marketing you’re attempting is actually doing the opposite of your agenda. These people are now irritated at you and the last few hung they want to do is give a second to your “cause” so now you just drove 300 people away from Jesus for your rudeness. How that working out for you.?

Please can you also add a comment in how to address situation where the meal is badly prepared. My friends always say I should not say anything because staff may become spiteful but I try and be respectfully honest the meal is not right. I've also done it on a date and the guy even said yho you are brave 🙈, but I would rather not eat than eat a bad meal😔

Its actually advised to place it on the back of your chair or folded to the left of your plate. You really don't want to place it on the chair in order to prevent stains nor would one want to reuse a napkin where their buttock has been.

A true gentleman will..... *Keep private conversation away.
