1.)Wait until everyone is served before eating. ... 2.)Chew with your mouth closed. ... 3.)Refrain from criticizing the food. 4.)Avoid stuffing your mouth. ... 5.)Ask someone to pass items to you instead of reaching. 6.)Use utensils and napkins. Avoid using your fingers to eat. 7.) At someone else’s house, offer to help 8.)Avoid interrupting when someone else is talking. 9.)Watch the host to see when you should unfold your napkin.

These etiquette rules were excellent! I have a few exceptions: 1) When ready to order, you should NOT get up and get the waiter. Remain seated until they arrive or you can signal another waiter to please get your waiter to order; 2) When you are about to sneeze, you should quickly cover your mouth with your napkin and turn away from the table. When you cough, it's in your elbow and slightly turn away, as well. Thanks!👍✌

It's never too late to learn and improve upon proper etiquette. THANK YOU. It means so much! ADDITION: If your nose begins to run/drip while at the table due to spicy food, hot soup, etc., DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT blow your nose at the table into your paper napkin and then put the napkin on the table. Excuse yourself and go blow your nose in the washroom and wash your hands. I've seen this done by male coworkers and think it is so nasty, unrefined and rude. Ruined the vibe. Why would anyone put a snot-filled napkin on the dining table?!

Yall need to stop. Why would you have dinner with someone whom you can't trust around your food or think they're gonna poison you? That DOES NOT make sense! Simply, say no thank you to the invite rather than worrying the entire time if you can or can not trust this person around your food or drinks. Now that

1.Don't place your bag on the table. 2.sit on the upright posture (spills more confidence) 3.do not shout at the waiter(establish eye contact with the waiter then signal) 4.close the menu and drop it on the table after selecting the food for the menu(the waiter will respond to you after that and take you order) 5.put the phone away(its shows class & respect) 6.do not apply make-up on the table 7.do not say your going to the toilet(just say "excuse me, I'll be right back" and go ...) 8.do not yawn or sneeze on the table(but if so do it in a class way) 9.do not show your teeth when using the toothpick(😆) 10.be polite the waiter /the one saving you (say "please"and "thank you") 11.do not give the tip to the waiter in public(say thank you ) *ps:Thanks for the tips*

I love your content this is excellent. You did a great job and you look amazing. If I could add a few tips: #1. Chew your food with your mouth closed..... #2. The napkin laying on the plate is for your lap, not your shoulder or to wipe your silverware or teeth off with. #3. Use appropriate language at the dinner table, no swearing no arguing. #4. Never be rude to the person that is preparing your food or taking your order. #5. Always say please and thank you. #6. Never belch at the table, or smack your food or floss your teeth.... #7. Never ask the waiter or waitress how much a dish is always refer to the menu... #8. You never ask the restaurant for a discount on a meal. If you’re dissatisfied with a meal give a reference to the waiter earlier rather than later. #9. If you are paying with a debit or credit card make sure you are comfortable with the restaurant you’re dining at or just carry cash. #10.If the gratuity is not added into the bill the tip should always be 15 to 20% but always feel at leisure to Tip what you desire. .......Last but not least, always dress appropriate for the environment that you’re in. Happy 2021 every one and God bless.

Thanks so much for the master class So many people have lost business partners, employment opportunities, life partners because of basic ettiquettes in life. Every opportunity you have with people is an opportunity to sell yourself and these are some of the things our African culture doesn't really embrace. Even the tone, body movements, talking over people, being too critical about the place, menu, etc are some of the reasons we loose it daily. All I know is it's never too late to unlearn certain habits and learn the write ones. My humble opinion

This is so sweet & needed. I recently attended a birthday dinner with friends of a friend. I was mortified at the behavior of some of the attendees. Phones out, photos being taken 🤦🏽‍♀️. The way the waitress was treated was so poor. It is also necessary in this day to wash your hands before eating. You can do this after you've placed your order. And also touch up make up there as well. Omgness applying make up at the table 😥. Thank you for this video! Class is inherit & it can be taught. I enjoyed watching and you are beautiful sister ☺️.

I love this Video, well done. Another rule is, if you are through eating before your Diner/s, don't get up and leave because you are ready. Sit and allow your Diner/s to finish.

Those that run Eatery and restaurants need to update their Waiters too. A lot of them don't understand these things and others can be very rude.😣 Thank you Winnie.❤

I think though that you should clean your mouth properly in the washroom. That way you can clean really well so you don’t end up with veges on your teeth and you can touch up your lipstick especially.

@ndukachibundom
@ndukachibundom 3 жыл бұрын
@@leesteal4458 I accept your look first then, your food. That's why beautiful and well cultured ladies serve food in events. Beauty is not all about the look. It's more of the way you present yourself; how you carry your personality and feminine grace.

Am from old school, British educated and taught in a girls finishing school for 15 years. Etiquette was/is a part of our daily life and it's a pity that many people break the rules all the time. Gonna forward this to some 'guilty' friends🤭 Wish you had mentioned the napkin or is it the serviette? ....and yes you are a beautiful eloquent lady, my 10 year old will enjoy watching this video..... your makeup 🌞

Thank you for your advise! I would like to add there are times you don't understand what the ingredients are in certain dishes and need the waiter to explain it, so you can't just close it and leave it on the side. Also, sometimes the restaurant is very busy and you can't get the Waiter's attention, you have to put your finger up and say excuse me. (You don't have to shout). I am looking forward to your next video.

After picking a table for themselves it's important to carry the chair smartly and not drag the chair when they want to sit and also return the chair by carrying it also when they are done with the seat before leaving the dinning too😊

When I invite for a meal or a tea, I invite my guests to lay their bags on a ravishing miniature uphosltered bench ; they greatly appreciate having their bags safely stored and not on the floor nor away in another room. I also use it myself for my own bags everyday. Highly useful piece of furniture. To be found at antique shops or have specially made bespoke by a cabinet-maker. Or by a very good DIY member of the family !
