Normally 20 minute videos are just people talking around the subject but we loved your through explanation and the valuable knowledge. I'm an amateur arm wrestler, Really enjoyed and learned from you 💪

Love the content. Can yall do a vid on armwrestling with a short arm/small hand compared to a long arm/big hand, like the advantages and disadvantages of both.

Thanks man! We will work on that for sure

I got a small hand and short arm. Posting top roll, press and offensive supinated side pressure hook works really well for me. With posting top roll I find grabbing only your opponents thumb works for me, since I have a really small hand my opponents thumb is pretty much the length of my palm width hahah

@@1029944 I'm short arm average hand, like you I find posting top roll to be my comfort zone. Death grip on the thumb, go ahead and slip but the thumb is coming with me.

Thank you guys for this. I am currently laid up due to a slipped disc, but I have switched to focus on the technique and rock, paper scissor esc of armwrestling. Right now your videos of the triad is my go too.

As a guy who loves wars and long matches ( I have a very good endurance ) this is the technique I hate the most. I hate losing just because someone jumped into my wrist

I hear you, there is always a counter. Learn the defensive and offensive hook. They are both great ways to stop a Posting toproll and turn the match into a war💪💪

@@tablemonkeys5262 I have a question on that regard. I'm an hooker, and I had decent results, but sometimes I'm just not able to hook. In European tournaments speed is so a major factor that I wasn't able to hook anyone. I got couple of wins due to straight flop pressing from the start, but since for hooking you need to ho forward most of the times I can't even hook the opponent that I'm already to the pad if he uses a posting. I have recently switched to a low hand Toproll, focused on getting into a defensive Toproll position, just because the start is faster and I hope it will be better to dealing with fast hitters. ( Since you go backwards instead of going forward I find it easier to defend ) Any tip / observation?

Getting in the strap is also a good option against fast posting top rollers. You can use your drag against their post which should win out, plus it’s easier to load side pressure in the setup to slow down their hit.
