One of the things I love about the game is it versatility set to max, especially for game masters to make any type of story.

Reminds me a lot of the old TSR Star Frontiers RPG with a more up to date system

+Eric Watson ah ok, that's cool. love to see the tabletop focused passion. I'm only really getting into the D20 systems, however I haven't been able to actually play a game yet

Thing is, thanks to 3rd party products, its not that hard to use Starfinder rules for a more "hard sci-fi" feel, in the mold of the old "Traveller" RPG (but using d20 rules, more or less ^_^). Also, with little work at all, this would be perfect to do a 'Shadowrun' type game (doesn't have 'netrunning' rules, but I always thought those kind of rules slowed the game down anyway).

My group thought Pathfinder was too rules heavy, and D&D 5E was too rules light. So far, Starfinder has looked like a good middle ground. As for whats in the book, other than the weapons and armor, i found the equipment section very lacking. Otherwise, looks great, and so far, plays great.

good to hear that this game isn't as rules heavy as pathfinder, it really was game breaking for me
