You can use the Eye of Tzeentch on the warpsmith even when he can't shoot. This is because you don't select targets until after you've selected the unit to shoot. So the order of operations is thus: -Select Warpsmith to shoot -Choose to use Dark Pacts -Select targets -No viable targets -End of shooting with Warpsmith -Take dark pact roll (risking mortal wounds) -Take Eye of Tzeentch roll That way you can keep him safely in the back, generating command points.

Beard, regarding the Dark Pacts rule, you make your attacks first, then roll leadership test. That way you don't lose any attacks from the unit.

he uses dark pack on out of sequence attacks too. you can use dark packs but you do not gain bonuses (sustain hits) there are units that get buffs when you do it (terminators) but not in this game.

With the Helbrute and the god mark dark pacts, the rule say that if you get Sustained/Lethal Hits you then crit on 5+. So would you both lethal AND sustained on 5+ near the Helbrute?

Should be, The Mark says that you crit on a 5 if you get your associated buff. And since you get both buffs, you automatically get the associated one. And the wording is that you trigger crits on 5+ (and both buffs key off of crits) So you do both on a 5+

As an IW player, this army does things to me, does dark things to me. Also, how'd you smooth out the siege shield on the LoS? Looking at the pattern on the original shield you can make a pretty good looking IW skull design by smoothing out some of it in key areas.

First of all great game but I got a question isn't givint the other 5 Possessed Mark Of Slaanesh statistically better than giving them Undivided? If you reroll the ones for each 1 you still have the chance to reroll to 1 or 2 which is still a miss. But with Mark Of Slaanesh every 5 automatically gives you another hit which should statistically be better? Statistically you will roll as many 1s as 5s so each one with rerolls only has a 2/3rd or 66.6 percent chance of being an additional hit but every 5 has a 100 percent of being an additional hit.
