Tabo vs Shower (Testing water savings!)

Using tabo or shower are both matipid as long as yung naliligo ay marunong mag control. Mas accurate siguro kung ang ginamit na pagmonitor ay mismong sa metro ng tubig dahil dun mo mismo makikita yung water consumption mo at dahil ang pagbayad ng tubig ay per cubic meter. TIPID TIPS ALSO HAHAHAHAHA If you do not have a shower and the only avaible is tabo, you can do the "patak patak system", which is for the whole day, you will open the faucet ng sobrang napakahina and then tignan yung metro ng tubig kung umaandar. Dapat yung sa bukas mo ng gripo ay hindi dapat aandar yung metro. From that patak patak system you can fill up a drum or more!!! lalo na kung pro ka na sa pag-kontrol ng bukas sa gripo. While in washing dishes. You can buy shower head na kinakabit sa gripo ng lababo, idunno kung ano ang tawag dun pero nakakatulong yung sa pagtitipid, I sweaarrrr! We are six in our household at ranging 17 to 20 cubic meter lang ang nagagamit namin sa isang buwan! YEEEYYY! HAHAHAHAHAHA

i think fact na tlga yun, less kc ang lumalabas sa shower (since small holes lang, naka control) pro it spreads faster than sa tabo, as seen sa video bc showers and garden hose have water pressurizer so na distribute faster, consistently and wider areas ( or katawan) even if u let it running for a minute or so. pag tabo mas sayang din namn kasi ng splash lang tubog either pag mag dilig ka or maligo. - not an engineer pro as an interior designer oriented kaming lahat for reducing expenses pra makabenefit ang home owners. Mas magastos sa shower kasi nag-eenjoy maligo 😂. With tabo at balde, you can limit how much water you’ll use and budget your usage. Shower would be cheaper if you know how to use and budget the water. I think of it like: Shower = paying by credit card Tabo + balde = paying by cash Can you maximize the same amount of water by using tabo vs shower? That is the question 😉

As usual, awesome content! Although, when using the shower, may tendency na nakatulala lang at muni-muni while naka-on kasi you don’t have to do anything, just turn it on. When this happens, we take more time taking a bath, while the water is running. Unlike kapag ‘tabo’, you are more attentive? Therefore, if you act like this while using the shower, it is possible that you could be wasting more water. Can’t explain eloquently like you, but hope this consideration on human behavior made sense haha! Anyway, I really love content nyo ni Kryz! It made me sane. Haha! More power ✨

I feel like it depends on how you use the tabo. Cuz my family back then would usually fill a tub of water (probably 2 of the blue balde) and it fits enough for about 2 person since it limits how much water you use.

Depende sa pagbuhos mo sa laman ng tabo. When I was still a student in Manila, I can take a bath with 1 pail (big one -twice the size of small pail) of water. Kung ipunin mo pa Yung ginamit mo sa pagbanlaw, (tungtong ka sa planggana habang nagbabablaw😊), may pambuhos ka pa sa bowl.

I think it also depends on what you do when you're showering. Haha. With a tabo, you can see how much water is left for you to use in the planggana or balde, so you're mindful about it, and more focused on the task at hand. Mao na we think dili siya kalas because we are able to "gauge", more or less, how much we're using. Whereas, when showering, the water is stored away at a tank within the lot but not inside the bathroom area. So og mag muni2 or concert2 ka sulod sa shower, ehhhhh, you'd still end up wasting water. XD

Very much agree with you. This video on tabo vs shower comparison is unfair and just spreads misinformation. It was proven a long time ago by scientists that using a shower wastes more water than using pail/tabo. There's actually a regulation in another country that limits a manufacturer from producing a showerhead that outputs high volume of water per minute. Please stop this misinformation.

It should be a controlled environment. Slater should literally take a bath with big container underneath to measure actual volume of water using shower and tabo. A lot of factors to consider; water pressure, time spent bathing, method of bathing, type of soap, etc. As per other studies in UP, using tabo consumes less water vs. shower.

When I was still in elementary school sinasabi ng mga teacher na mas matipid pag gumamit ng tabo but ever since I'm always saying na mas matipid pag shower spray ang ginamit. Lalo na kung nakasahod pa sa planggana habang naliligo. Mas madaming tubig ang nagagamit pag tabo and hindi ka pa basta masasatisfied pag di mo nabuhusan ng ayos ang likod unlike shower spray pwede ka pang tumalikod. Kaya mas tipid talaga ito.

Para sa akin, tabo. 🙂 Unang buhos, isang tabo na mabagal na ibubuhos sa katawan while rubbing or "spreading" the water onto the body. Then kalahating tabo ng tubig na pagsasawsawan ng soap para mapabula siya. Then sa pagbabanlaw, ganun din. Slow pouring of water while rubbing off the soap suds and bubbles. With this, nagagawa kong maligo ng at least half a medium-sized pail. Pero kaya rin ito sa shower. Basta hindi lang nakabukas ng todo yung shower.

Tabo technique may help you save by limiting the number of tubs you use when you bathe but not very efficient because like Slater said probably half of the water you splash yourself with using tabo goes away from your body. I’d say it’s wasteful. With shower, you can direct it towards which part of your body you want to wash, e.g. arms, legs, etc.

In our house, mas matipid ang tabo. We have kids aged 5 and 11, they play with water pag shower ang gamitin. So I had it removed. I can save more water. But your comparison depends in every household especially kung gaano kabilis maligo ang isang tao. I don't think its applicable in every household but great info though 😁

If in the perspective that you use a planggana and the water is continuously pouring, time and motion analysis, planggana is still more efficient than of using shower. People in the country often use it because its more cheaper, try to fill in a tub with continuosly pouring shower by the time of how usually done in the shower, and take a bath using only planggana and tabo, and you will see that traditional way of bathing is more efficient.

Because if gamit natin ang tabo, yung isang buong tubig ng tabo is ibibuhos natin sa body natin in just 4seconds and take note isang buong tubig tabo nayun at yung arm na gamit mo to hold the tabo is baka hindi mopa natatanggal ang sabon compare kapag shower it will take atleast 15sec para lang mapuno mo ang isang tabo at sa loob ng 15seconds nayun matatanggal mona ang sabon sa katawan mo.

For me it depends, like for me i use a bucket of water for my tabo while on the shower more or less 5 mins of shower time, so on this I'll say its more cost effective for tabo but if your a person who uses more than a bucket of water to clean yourself go for the shower its saves more as seen on this video. You can use it for bathing, paghuhugas ng pinggan, paglalaba, etc.😂😂😂😂😂 we don't measure it with timer and water pressure. We measure our usage by how long will the "WAY AGAS" hours or days 😂😂

I was right!!! hehe... but I guess there's a better testing method. to really measure the amount of water from one who takes a shower and the tabo rather than the time to fill a palanggana. try that Slater!!! hehe

With tabo kasi you can budget one tabo on a specific target area of your body. Unlike sa shower it always comes from the top. Unless u have the detachable type which not all people have. For me its still satisfying magbanlaw with tabo than with a shower head. Just my two cents tho 🤣🤣🤣

i use tabo eversince tumitila pa ang tubig sa container. nakakalugas ng buhok ang shower. matipid ang tabo kahit na makalat ang tubig, madali namang maglinis ng banyo eh.

Shower mas tipid and convenient for me lalo na kapag gusto ko magbabad sa tubig dahil mainit, di ko na need maglagay ng tabo na may tubig sa ulo ko para lang magtuloytuloy yung agos ng tubig 😆
