I own a 14000 tesoro and Saragoss and from my view the gosa is a bit smoother but, its worth it for sure

Yeah bud, the Tesoro is a beauty… but so is the Gosa. Kind of makes a tough choice if you’re buying just 1 reel😜🤣

Salina is the replacement for the Metaloid. Basically the same internal components. Azores XP has the same high density gears as the Metaloid. I have the Azores ZXP-8000H since December 2021 and I've had zero issues with it. Original gears and bearings still in. It had it's fair share of abuse/wade/sand and hasn't been serviced in 11 months and still smoother than ever

@@untraceablefishing the Azores XP has really impressed me. I never doubted this reel. The best part of buying a cheap 2nd hand Azores Blue or Z is that you can actually get metaloid gears for it and you basically have an Azores XP/cheap metaloid

Since i asked you on the other video that you put Tesoro higher than Saragosa and Slammer but below Twinpower....I noted on that one.... And I would like to choose 4000 series over 8000... different weight....if all the components on 4000 are similar with >4000 series....i'm not hesitate to buy 4000 in future...

Thanks for the video guys. I am a Shimano fan boy but I am getting a bluefish zero 13ft for scratching. I would like to keep my reel budget at R3k. Considering the BG the Battle 3 the Salina and the battle 3 dx. I think these are better then the shimano's at this price level. What size Salina would you suggest for the 13ft bluefish? I am thinking a 5000 for the BG or Penn as they tend to run a bit bigger from my experience

I’d say a 6000 or 8000 will work. Dean has the BG (2 of them), and goes for Salina every single time. It’s an amazing reel- don’t even think about anything else🙏🏻💪🏻

You’re not comparing apples with apples. Spheros is more expensive and a reel in a different price point. For us, we’d still go for a Salina because of performance and price.
