This breaks my heart me my grandma and even my great grandparents have been going here for longer than I can remember. The owner is such an amazing sweet man and always made out visits there amazing 😢

00:34 one of my first ever dining experiences (the layout still looks vaguely familiar). I was about age 5. I still remember the first chips and salsa I ever had at a restaurant. What a special place this was for our family. We lived not too far away. 😢

Taco House was my first job. Coming here from ohio. 1982 Wadsworth🎉❤ work also worked Colfax and quail. Location Taco House not there.❤❤

Now that restaurant has to pay orders of magnitude more in payroll costs so those four tacos are $15 now.

I ate there about 5 years ago. Can't believe they are still open. Or have been open so long. Quality was low. I've never been back.

Every year I would go back to the hometown of my father in Denver and I would just enjoy the burritos they make in this restaurant. It’s sad that this place is closing.😢😢

Seriously? It was my first job at Taco House when I was teenager during high school. I was doing bus girl like cleaning tables and setting up on the tables for 6 months. My grandmother and my brother used to work there too. The owner was Ivan Green on Colfax and Quail St. They torn down. The others restaurant who owns it. I’m not sure who they are but you saw this video who owns it. They used to have 10 Taco Houses then now only 3 left. One is on Federal Blvd like you saw this video. Second is on 14th and Wadsworth Blvd and Third is on Littleton Blvd and S. Datura St. that’s it. It’s sad to it to go. I hope they can fight to keep it going for the business.

Want to lower the burden on local restaurants? Lower the minimum wage for tipped employees!!! You raise the wage of tipped workers, payroll costs skyrocket for the restaurant, to compensate the restaurant has to raise food prices, that then eats into the tip the server would otherwise get and likely NOT pay taxes on. Servers were doing fine!! Hell, the servers at Casa Bonita aren’t happy with $30 an hour!! Go back to the way it’s been when everyone was happy. You can’t squeeze from both ends and expect everything in the middle to stay the same….

If they can't afford to pay employees a livable wage, they deserve to go out of business. It's not the customers job to make up for the lack of pay from a greedy owner.
