@@sketch2347 I was born right around the time it started, only getting into O&A now. It's pretty easy to judge people personality wise, don't need a 101 degree... Gregg... Ant was smart, or at least witty. He is racist, but honest about what he felt. He wasn't particularly confrontational, and was self aware. As shitty as he could be as a person, he was real. That's why he was able to hang with people like Patrice. He respected, and expected respect back. Opi was the opposite: Thought he was the shit, was super aggressive at face, or to underlings/homeless people, but really was a privileged untalented coward at heart. No self awareness really retards your self growth. The fact that he pretended he could do better by whining and threating management, while having no real plan or talent, WHILE threating a dozen other people's jobs with that bullshit, that boils my blood. TlDR: Opi was a lucky Dork with no talent.

Oh god, I remember Mr. Cumia talking about Opie and his nose picking habit in the O&A days, so to those of us who have been listening forever (I've been a listener since Boston, as I live in Mass) I can tell those of you newer to Mr. Cumia and O&A that this is NOT some new slander or something that Ant came up with. Mr. "Opie" Hughes has had a notorious nose picking issue since they hit the air. The man needs help! As a former, long-time amateur boxer (and person with a big mouth who has had a bunch of street fights) my nose has been broken a BUNCH of times and it is a mess inside my nose, the cartilage is all smashed up and I have allergies and IN PRIVATE I shove my finger in my nose always. BUT in PUBLIC I have the discipline to keep my fist out of my nose. And no, my nose is not crooked. I came from an Irish boxing family (from Massachusetts, some stereotypes are true) and the initiated know that when you break your nose you shove your fingers in your nostrils and move everything around until it is straight and then you let it heal. And yes, it hurts a LOT. But you have two choices -- be a man and take the pain and fix your nose, or look like Adrian Brody the rest of your life, or Owen Wilson, I dunno, anyone with a crooked nose. Anywho, have some discipline Mr. Hughes and leave your nose alone. OMG did your parents not tell you to NOT pick your nose in public and leave the snot alone. Mr. Cumia and everyone else from O&A deserve COMBAT PAY from having to be around that man. The mental scars must be enormous. (edit -- fixed typo. pobody's nerfect)

Ive never been an opie basher. I think that bashing opie became just a thing to do in the O&A fandom like Nickelback jokes became an internet thing. But I will say that throughout the years, Opie has seemed resentful about Ant's freedoms that his life affords him. I'm not saying Opie is unhappy with his life, or maybe he is. Nobody ever knows the challenges others face. But Ope always seemed to mine Ant's life for entertainment, or he'd find ways to judge it through the guise of humor or teasing. I dont say that to pull a "gotcha" on Opie. I love opie. I love ant. And I love everything that was that show. We have years of entertainment for free because of the things those guys accomplished. But I hope that eventually it can just die once and for all. Im talking about the point where no one cares enough to mention the other about things that could have been talked about but weren't.

The utter arrogance of doing an "Ask me Anything" show and then acting annoyed when anyone asks about O&A. He never really opened up about his personal life on the show, so people aren't going to ask about it. His live streams are not very well attended to begin with. You just know Opie sits there for an hour hitting refresh to see how many hits he gets.And those "friends" he mentioned were probably his wife's (who he met at a show event). They're probably still impressed by Opie's previous career. Seems strange that there are no pictures of Opie's kids anywhere. And his young wife isn't on social media? He's not hiding out at the beach because he is living this great life. It's something else
