I own 6 AceJet Stingers and 3 AceJet Hornets and I love the 8mm thickness of the Stingers! I also have 4 Arrows by Flying Steel, BUT the Hornets and Arrows are only 6mm thick and it sure makes a difference in the way I throw them and the penetration of the stick. The 8mm seems to add power and confidence to my throw. Now, at Wulflund, there are the Mini Vengeance, like the Hornet, but 8mm thick! I'm super excited to check them out along with the Top Dog and Vengeance knives! I have been wondering whatever happened with the Top Dog and I appreciate the inside information, although it's sad for Boker, it's excellent information for us serious knife throwers, as we actually use these things. It's not like spending a lot of money on a hand made knife that sits in a frame as a collector's piece. We use, abuse, and beat the hell out of throwing knives, which is one reason I love throwing knives so much. What other knife activity can you actually use or play with knives in the activity they were designed for, for hours a day? It's so much fun, and it's rewarding to improve my skills. Awesome that Top dog is up for sale now, and the sheath looks awesome. I think it have the same mechanism like the one I got from my Kukri knife. If it does, then you should be able to change direction, so that the sheath lies horisontal in the belt. That would make it an easier quickdraw.

Your Accuracy... with those things is amazing...... well done with your training and reputation....glad u have a product that your happy with......am not shure but their is a little draw back with the sheet ..may be the angle of it for quicker draw of the knife...in stead of being vertical ... could fix it to different angles by the waist height... might be more comfortable ...

That's actually a nice and thoughtful idea to have one side curved like vengeance/arrows and the other to be straight. Is there a clip version that can hang it horizontal or at an angle instead of holding the knife straight up? I like the idea of drawing the blade by pulling forward (like a katana) but in reverse grip and letting the momentum flip itself into no-spin grip as I pull my hand up.

Maybe Böker is fed to well already, it´s a pity they failed to costumforge you a Knife! I mean it`s one of the biggest and well known Knife-Companies here in Germany with a stunning 150 Years of Experience, but i am sure: Any Medieval-Market Blacksmith would have taken your Order with please and had you less dissapointed... Adam, gotta tell you I seriously enjoy your videos not only do you make it interesting but you seem to really enjoy what your doing & in the end thats what really counts, I've been throwing knives sense I was a boy Im 57 now & many ppl think Im pretty good, Im not even in the same class as you & a few of your buddies Ive watched throw. That no spin, I've been working on that technique for quite some time its tricky, I will get a beauty or 2 & then Im flat on the tree & my knives ring out to the neighbors, "hey this guy sucks at throwing knives" lol SERIOUSLY, is there any thing you can tell me to help my release is over half my problem, do I let the gravity from the force of my throw "take" the knife from my hand or do I have to ease up to zero on the way downwards, its a timing thing huh.

In about 2 months gone from not getting any knives to stick to being able to fairly reliably being able to hit a playing card from 4.5 metres. Even sometimes putting 3 knives in one card. lts a fantastic hobby. And its great to have someone to watch and aspire to be able to throw like you. Unfortunate, of course, that the collaboration with bokker wasn't was great as expected, but in their defense, they don't exactly specialize in throwing equipment. The end results look great, probably the same quality level as the vengeance.

Rewatching I'm sure you were asking to get further improvement ideas etc. I got some but I don't know how worth the time and money they are... But I'll list anyway. A rotary function on the clip would allow it to swing (but I'm assuming the solid state is preferred in the case of this spike) and maybe the only improvements I can think of other than that is allowing multiple spikes in a single sheath. I can imagine 2 in 1 sheath (opposite entry points) but that would have to be worn horizontally. My further thoughts on it are not very useful or practical sorry 😂

Looks like a serious boo-boo by Boker on the heat treatment of the prototypes - first too soft, then too hard, especially combined with the pronounced distal taper. The Wulflund take on the design looks a lot more robust - as shown by your fairly brutal durability testing. And yes, definitely in for this one! 😎
