My only problem is he didnt chose a popper or a buzz bait. My lord buzz bait at 6am oh my gosh is that fun. And 9pm sunset fishing you want to catch 20 bass in 45 minutes throw a popper drive them crazy hands down the funnest it gets pond fishing. Sure its fun draging a crawfish on the bottom buttop water is pond fishing just my 2 cents
@jodycockerham75563 жыл бұрын
@@tacticalbassin maybe do another video and show how you can slam with early morning buzz bait or sunset popper fishing a farm pond or avarage pond you find at a neighbors house. Another good video idea would be like to show people how fun creek fishing with light gear 1 pole small hand full if hooks a few small lures bobber and a minnow or a worm an d how awesome the small mouth fishing is. Get wet walk right down the middle and fish it up show people how to set a minnow trap . I suck atmaking videos but you seem pretty comfortable I used to watch this guy long lime ago named dave mercer and the facts of fishing. Absolutely fantastic fisherman and comedian.

Great bank fishing tips. A below average angler like me with very little tackle, only can fish public pressured ponds. Learning how to fish the conditions every pond has to offer plays a big role for me and that’s why I can be successful.

@marvinprado17003 жыл бұрын
Totally agree! In fact I also use the SLX for my Texas rig and the Sellus as my spinning. The only different in our set ups is that I prefer a weightless fluke instead of the shakey head. In my opinion the shaky head hangs up a little bit more while the fluke glides over the grass and you can really slow down as fish it like a weightless senko. I love versatile baits!! Great video!
@chrisplummer288 Жыл бұрын
I gotta agree with you on the weightless fluke. I live in Florida, and they smash that thing when you’re working over grass.

You can almost ditch the swim jig and take a Zoom Ultravibe Speedworm and either swim it like a swim jig or fish it like a texas rig/shaky head.

Getcher self some 5/16 ID silicone tubes from amazon, and chop them up to act as sleeves for your yum dingers. I use yum dingers for neko rigs, and they last forever, and with the silicone tube instead of an oring, you rarely ever lose one when ya get hooked up.
@r.barefoot83863 жыл бұрын
Going to have to try that idea! You can also cut the ends off your old tube baits and slide them onto the ends of your stick baits for a skirted wacky rig 👍
@twiggsherman36413 жыл бұрын
@@r.barefoot8386 I take 10-15 strands of silicone skirting, line it up with the length of the dinger, and put a normal oring over it on top of the silicone tube. The oring helps keep extra pressure on the silicone tube, and the skirting holds up really well after a fish catch, you sometimes have to untangle it though.

I have the heritage backpack I can fit 6 3700 trays in there plus two smaller trays. I always have at least three rods with me. My ponds are so pressured it’s not funny, I would say that the ponds here in Az get hit harder then the lakes. Not to mention the 115• summer days. I just try and find golf courses if I can get away with it. And hit the lakes every now and then with my kayak.

I only carry 1 rod if I’m going to the pond. Usually my Megabass P5 Super Destroyer because it can throw everything since it has almost a dual action. I have a Steez AGS 7’2” H power Pitch on the way which will also be great and a conquest 842s which will probably get a ton of use throwing wacky rigged senkos which I catch the most fish on. I only like to bring 1 rod because I don’t like setting my reels on the ground and having a bunch of dirt and grime in them and also I don’t like getting bit by ants I didn’t know we’re on my rods

I can definitely attest to the ticks being present- man I got ate up a few days ago. LOL- I hear ppl online talking about going to the doctor cause they got a tick bite- man, if we went to the doctor every time we got a tick bite we would literally be there everyday. I get at least 1 a day- usually 3-4 a day- and I have for years now, no problems so far. We just pull them off and put some alcohol or peroxide on it, some anti itch cream- and forget it. Yeah I do worry about stuff like lime's disease but, when you live where I live you have no choice but to get over it.
