It also depends on what you’re hit with… 9mm pistol sims hurt a lot less than the 5.56 sims shot from a carbine IMHO. I’ve got couple leftover (small) scars from the rifle sims on my torso role playing with our local SO SWAT team training, but the only time the pistol sims ever bothered me is if I forgot to wear gloves. I HIGHLY recommend wearing gloves because if your role playing with a pistol in your own hands out in front of your torso. And don’t forget the cup too! Totally worth the awesome experience and training though!!!

Ive shot a lot of Simmunitions. Yes it does hurt a little, but usually your adrenaline is pumping if you’re doing realistic training and you don’t feel it so much. Tip- wear a hoodie sweatshirt for the right amount of cushion and wear gloves. Getting shot in the fingers stings and you’ll be surprised how often they will shoot at your gun pointed at them.

There are three reasons people don’t go. The third is cost of a training courses like this. most Americans can’t afford gas nevertheless training like this that is why we appreciate what you do thank you please keep putting out videos for those who can’t afford it.

Had a blast when i done force on force during my Leo training. We cleared school buildings, done patrol stops, done fast draw scenarios, done active shooter drills and played around at the end doing 10 step draws like in westerns for fun. I will never forget those days. Learned a TON clearing the school. It was a small college and instructors hid around the school and a 3 or 4 man team had to clear it. The Sim rounds from the handguns didn't feel great but wasn't bad. The 5.56 Sims left scars and for a few drew blood when it hit bare skin. I would love to so that again

My three brothers and I had BB gun wars all the time just in our jeans and t-shirt, yeah it hurt a little but that's what makes your reaction time better

Getting hit in the nip doesn't feel great in airsoft, probably feels like ass in this.

It’s essentially an ant bite. Not even a red ant level. Airsoft or sims. Some may leave a more prominent welt depending on other factors. Quite frankly, if one isn’t able to endure that minor sting and have such a low pain tolerance, I can’t even imagine what would happen if that same person gets into an actual gun fight. A graze or a non fatal hit and they may not even be operational anymore, rendering the training, and more so carrying, useless. Pain is temporary, knowledge and training are forever. If you wouldn’t let a little pain get knowledge or training, you aren’t training well or hard enough. It goes well for any activity that requires some physical exertion.

I hate to tell you this a lot of his training is military application So a lot of civilians don't want to go there The other problem that simunitions are not the solution I think and a lot of people agree with me that you need to be using a training round

> 10 minute video about how people avoid training because of pride and pain Literally the only thing that keeps me from proper FoF training (not just unfocused airsoft games) is money. Bring on the pain and humility. I want to hurt and I want to learn.

The majority of the video is about preparing oneself for their first session and managing the pain, i.e. not how people avoid training because of pride and pain. That part is just the beginning.
