Between this and the Hesco 4800LV done by Buffman that stopped 2 M2AP 300 winmag rounds and a slew of other smaller AP rounds, modern body armor is really impressive. We have come a long way in the last 20 years.

I have seen videos of that plate and other level 4s and they did stop a 30.06 Black tip

I was under the impression that all level 4 rated plates, in order to be rated level 4 must be able to stop 30-06 armor piercing which is significantly stronger than the 308. Have you just been testing on level three?

It isn't stronger when the 308 core is made o tungsten. The 30-06 AP is a hardened steel core, not tungsten.

@Tactical Rifleman You made some videos with Daycraft Systems. Daycraft System also builds a 25mm chain gun but improved compared to other chain guns. I would like to see a video where you test this 25mm chain gun against hard targets, soft targets and ballistic dummies to simulate the effects of such a shot on the human body.

It looks as though that edge hit did penetrate. You can see light shining thru the hole. Also, tactic shop has a bare bones website. The plates are not even listed and everything is "call for pricing"

Ounces save pounds. For a plate that weighs 8 pounds each, that set up is tits, however being shot with those rounds is highly unlikely in a SHTF scenario. Never say never but I’ll take my chances with a 3A and stash the extra 10lbs on my load out.

How Special Forces Move As a Team video short, make sure everyone is functioning off the same program, and clearly understand communications back and forth, pretty darn important, you guys do a video on how to retreat to a different position? Sure wish a large group of you guys would get together and contact some Congressmen or Governors, so that veterans like yourselves could go over the security of our current schools cause the current security setup is a failure, yeah, I’ve actually developed a security plan myself, but so difficult to get any attention, maybe you guys can also make a video on what schools need to do to keep the bad guys out, then send it to the politicians, or maybe I can just add what I learn from you guys to my own security plan that I’ve sent to like 20 political leaders already.🤷🏻‍♂️👍
