Knox Hill ft Ren, Fentanyl, dropped last Friday in case you are interested in checking it out. This was such a cathartic song for all of us. Love and positivity out to Ren cuz he had some health issues and ended up in the hospital this past weekend. He's out now and recovering, thankfully. He just found out recently that he has to go back to Canada at the end of Oct for more treatment. Not sure if that will get bumped up with what ever happened this weekend. There's more info and a better explanation from a couple of posts on IG and his community page on yt. His friends are currently running his social media and stuff rn.

Well considering he probably doesn't make music for a living, it kind of makes sense for me. I mean I don't know why he didn't take it but I can think of at least two reasons that seem valid to me: 1) He doesn't (at this point) like Ren and doesn't wanna do anything with him. 2) He hasn't been paid for his previous work so accepting a new job is kind of risky in that situation, who knows if he'd ever be paid.

Because after this the fans who were kicking off at KB didn't have anything left to say! I really hope Ren can get the legal side tied up soon, it has all fed into his big relapse and will have cost him more health wise than KB was ever going to get. It's all such a shame.

Please know that within 2 or 3 days of Ren dropping this, Ren posted a pic of himself in a face to face sit down with Lyor Cohen, the head of KZbinMusic, as well as one of the BIG names in hip hop. KZbin removed KujoBeats copy right strike for now. There hasn't been a peep out of KujoBeats. I hope he had a stroke when he saw Ren sitting next to Cohen. Also this track charted at number 15 when it dropped.

❤ There is nothing I love more than reaction videos to Ren's songs. I love hearing the reactors wondering what's going to be in the videos. Every time I laugh or simile to myself with child like glee and anticipation. Just knowing I get to experience it ( again) for the first time through someone else's eyes. Its fine to hear that if you like as art is in the “ear” of the beholder - but in a Q&A video Ren confirmed the “choir” is a VST synth that makes random sounds in the style of a choir, so there are no actual words, and hence any “meaning” is being brought to it by the listener.

I think it's Beatstars offering legal services to enforce the contracts made through them. I would also assume the lawyer is not really looking after Kujo but just needs the Beatstars contract to be honored. Because otherwise there would be some decent solutions (in my opinion) but they (much like what Ren suggested) do not really promote Beatstars interests. For Beatstars the best outcome would probably be Ren having to pay Kujo as agreed and Kujo taking the legal consequences for the stolen sample. Because they do want to keep the beatmakers' trust in their contracts but also not encourage selling stolen samples (and therefore breaking the TOS) on their site. Not achieving either of these could kind of harm their reputation and drive away either beatmakers or people buying the beats.

Plus he is going to re-release a new version of Sick Boi which should bump his album sales again. Much love to Ren who ended up in hospital again but is now recovering at home.
