This worked awesome on my 2002 Chevy Avalanche! Thanks for the video. Doing this saved me a lot of money!

You could probably get a blank cd to avoid having to turn down the volume every time you pause.... right?
@thatonecarmonkey44773 жыл бұрын
Yes, I instead installed an AUX input.

Do you "inline spice" the Lin and Rin or just cut them and leave the other end open?
@jamesstotler3294 жыл бұрын
The connections that you soldered to the PCB on the Delco, could you just have rewired the out-put from the bt receiver to the cut wires that went to the PCB connector? Not talking crap just curious as to weather those were the same connections. Thanks.

Hi, James. I tried that, but there was a ground loop that I couldn't get rid of.

@@thatonecarmonkey4477 I wired mine up the way you showed in the video and works great. Thanks for making the video.

Is the connection to caset stereo different?

Hi, yes. I think there's a video he in KZbin about that.

Just a thought. Record a "blank" CD-R for use with bluetooth, that way when bluetooth is off, there is no other audio playback. That said, I am not at all familiar with these GM radios and do not know if they will read CD-R's.

They do, I've since replaced the radio with an android unit. But, yes, tried the blank CD. It worked.

I just checked, I couldn't find the same one. Not sure if they still offer the same model.

ArmorLab, yeah I couldn’t find it either. I found this one in Amazon. Looks like a better quality module. Any would do, as long as it doesn't have the "Bluetooth is now connected" lady voice. 😁

Nice how-to. I was searching to find out how to do this on my 2002 Tahoe, but want to try to do this through my tape player, which is a separate module on the console. Did your Tahoe have the tape player and if so, why did you opt to go through the CD interface? Thanks!
@thatonecarmonkey44776 жыл бұрын
Hi John, no, I don't have the tape deck, hence the CD route. It's wired differently now, I killed the CD altogether and just added an Aux input instead.
