8:12 I love how during this demonstration you get Tammy's Head + damage everything in the room + Telekinesis but when actually playing DELETE THIS you only get haha funny shid fard every enemy randomly turns into giant ass missiles.

Got an item (or a combination) that dealt random damage to me every time I killed an enemy. I died, and respawned as ???, and after that, every time I lost the last heart, I got another one plus an invincibility shield. There was literally no way to die.

Fun fact: you can get infinite charges on your pocket active item - you need head of the keeper ( penny tears) and this planetarium item which makes the door don't close after entering a room with enemies

This is pretty cool, my only wish is for the character’s looping light animation to be a nested symbol. It’s slightly distracting when the band of light resets its animation every time the character’s head turns, in flash this could be remedied by using a nested symbol but unfortunately I don’t think Rebirth has that kind of animation capability.

What I like about this character is that it's not just "some stat swap and oh you can have this item in the beginning" type of character, he is ACTUALLY unique. I also like how T. Andromeda has very different sprites when getting items, I don't like how almost all characters receive same cosmetic changes, while T. Andromeda Actually looks unique n nice to look at

I thought it was like once you get a certain number of items from any one pool it stops giving you them because I got extremely lucky apparently and got 3 or 4 items in a row from the secret room pool

It only copies an effect 3 time now, so Ancient Recall doesn't work anymore. Vurp should work tho, unless the creators of the mod hardcoded that one out (I did not test it ^^)

Vurp I rhink was hardcoded to not xharge singularity at all. I had a run where my first pill was a Vurp pill, but no matter how many times I spammed it, it never gave an item charge.

@@SlayXc2 one thing I realized that’s pretty cool. If we make the connection of andromeda to the planetarium, we could see tainted andromeda’s color scheme to how planetariums look after defeating Mom’s heart in the alt path (if you exit the room)

A small detail that was not mentioned - collecting golden pennies only gives you 1 charge for 2 pennies, and not for each spawned coin. Also, wanted to express my huge Dankeschön fur Ihnen! Also there's one bug(?) with t.Andromeda when it can destroy poop in front of it's face while you're shooting if you're close enough. I think the cause that the Andromeda mechanic just teleports tears to the black hole and then they go back to you, but tears hitbox remains for some time. (also it might work with terra and rocks, i haven't checked that yet)

Fun fact: Its not only 4 directions.. but 8! it starts with the analog stick effect! But I don't recommend using it with mouse controls. Another one: the item Tractor Beam will completely make this characters gimmic useless.

The amount of effort that went into this is insane. My only quibble is that the character is completely busted. I feel like they could have made like four or five balanced characters instead of putting everything into one (or two as the case may be). That said, this is freaking sick. Mad props to the devs.

Yeah I agree it is kinda strong. But I can see where the devs are coming from. Lots of ppl complain about mod characters if they are too hard as well and don't bother playing them, so it might be the safer bet to make a character a bit too strong rather than a bit too "weak". Sodom and Gomorrah are a good example. The characters are really cool but many ppl don't actually play them because they think it is too hard ^^' But of course, at the end of the day a "balanced" character would be ideal.

The way I see it the characters are meant to be whatever the hell the mod makers want them to be. My second question is what do you mean by that’s what repentance is for? I don’t think repentance was designed with any consideration for the modding community at all, beyond what was already in rebirth. And it seems weird to make an entire dlc just for people to make modded characters to use in it.

It purposefully nerfed everything unbalanced in Afterbirth+. If you want to play a balanced game of Isaac, Repentance is just that.

now that there are c-sides “tarnished characters (modded)” will we get tarnished andromeda? it could be a red giant “if andromeda is based off of a star, than a red giant would make sense” it would fire like tainted andromeda, but the black hole in the middle of the room would be red, and do contact damage, and sucks in enemies and pulls pickups faster i’m all out of ideas now

I really want to like this character but It's just so hard to aim his shots since it has many blind spots and It's generally unintuitive. Furthermore, you are likely to be underpowered in the first floors since you'll get to the boss room before filling Singularity, meaning you only get one boss item or a deal in the first floors
