My C6 90 Yanfei has been useful in IT but hasn't been active since early game. On R2 Solar Pearl with 2pc Crimson/Wanderer's she has 1.5k ATK 197 EM 130 ER & 57/168 crit so no massive numbers unless she gets a lucky vape. Still knocks out consistent 6 digits on charged hits while in burst so it's enough for me. Almost forgot talents, she has 10/10/11

I consider myself Yanfei and Raiden main, they are my two first characters in the character profile showcase! I run Yanfei with 4pc Wandere's Troupe / Lost Prayer / 178-74 CritDmg CritRate and 1741 ATK; C6, triple crowned; I love bringing her to the Abyss whenever I can though it's not always possible! It's also hilarious to bring her in coop when someone else uses Neuvillette - sending out our lawyers to have a word with the monsters in our behalf, lmao.

Dude, your 4 star building series is the only reason I haven't dropped genshin yet after natlan. It inspired me to finally build the 4 stars I've always had an interest in but lacked motivation to build, Chongyun being my favorite thus far. 0 regrets, he's literally my main cryo DPS now. I used to play Yanfei a lot too, even had her crowned on release, and you're making me remember how fun and comfy it was to play her. Time to see how mine will do with better artifacts and new teams! So nice to see Yanfei getting appreciation! Small tip from a long-time main regarding her burst: it's best to use it at the beginning lf every other rotation (and not trigger it in the middle of one) to make the most out of the Widsith's buff. As long as you can reliably use it when switching back to her, you're good to go!

The main thing people seem to miss about Yanfei is the stamina reduction passive attached to her normal attack talent. I know this is true because the most common complaint I see about Yanfei is that people are running out of stamina, when her kit actually allows her to be one of the most stamina friendly units in the game. Basically, every Scarlet Seal she possesses will give her stacking universal stamina reduction. This counts for gliding, climbing, swimming, and most importantly sprinting (and charge attacks too ofc). What makes her gameplay interesting is playing around this. If an enemy is coming at you with an attack, don't try and squeeze out your charge attack first and then sprint. Just NA and sprint, then CA after the dodge. This will make your sprint cost next to nothing with full Scarlet Seals. Likewise, unless you're on the og Pyro set, you don't need to skill on cooldown either - you can hold it to generate max stacks immediately after a CA in case you have time to squeeze in both before a dodge. Tl;dr it's too use your Scarlet Seals wisely. Obviously you want to put out a much damage as possible, but if you run out of stamina and get knocked around or killed as a result of always spamming CA as soon as you have seals and sprinting with none, then you're losing DPS in the end. But yeah, she's super fun. It feels almost like playing Baby's First Souls-like the way you're timing dodges and resource consumption to punish the opponent.

FYI- Yanfei's C2-Increases Yanfei's Charged Attack CRIT Rate by 20% against enemies below 50% HP. (I don't think it was mentioned in the video, sorry if it was!) I have her triple crowned but I always forget her combos and details. She's so much fun :)

I mained Yanfei early game and still go back to her every now and then. Overvape carried me throughout early game. I had Xingqiu, Zhongli (didn’t have Yanfei C4 then, and Zhongli was so good), and Raiden (as a noob then, I only knew how to use her as a sub DPS lol). She was always fun for me to play and as I progressed in the game, I could say she definitely got some nice buffs. Now her team consists of Furina (I also have Yanfei on Neuvi’s signature weapon), Kazuha and Bennett.

Also Freminett vid sounds fun, Its cool that he has both a cryo and a phsyical playstyle, I run a physical Freminet build myself because I happened to get pretty lucky in the Pale flame domain. 4pc set with 72cr and 151cd, and I smack enemies for up to 5Ok in the overworld with him he's C0 with an R5 tidal Shadow so if I actually had any cons and a 5 star wepon on him I bet I'd hit even harder but the most I've smacked with him so far is 72k in the abyss w/abyss buffs.

I've been maining yanfei for 3 years now, pretty much when i started the game. shes so insanely underrated, i 36 star abyss with her every rotation. highest damage I've dealt with her is 707k on scaramouche

same attitude i had towards yanfei back in version 1.something to almost inazuma. then i realized that yanfei is a c0 klee powercreep. i think yanfei is considerably better. also noelle and itto with no weapon or artifacts do very little damage, but orders of magnitude more than this. they can pull 5k hits

Yeah, yanfei is totally a Ningguang, but pyro. She kinda play the same than her. Well, if you change the animation cancel normal animation dependent from ningguang (3 different timing to cancel basic attack for faster basic) And control where you put your construct. And walking into it. And double E with burst in between And the more quickswapy DPS gameplay for ningguang with a longer time for yanfei. And the need for an other geo unite making her team totally unique from yanfei. And the damage repartition from burst/E/AA/CA. Yeah, okay, they don't share a lot, but they are both woman with a book from liyue with strong charged attack and some stack on basic attack !!!!!!!!!!! basically the same ahah (this post was written by a ningguang main)

As a yanfei main, I would like to say that you did not do the combo correctly. When you use yanfeis burst, it fills all your stacks. In addition, as you mentioned, it gives 1 stack per second, but on top of that, each NA hit accumulates 1 more stack, so you can accumulate 3 stacks with only 1 NACA combo that makes your dps will increase further. When she is c6, she gets extra stack which increases to 4, in that case it is necessary to do 2na because it does not fill with 1na combo as before. I noticed that you did not try it in the video but currently Yanfei's most functional and highest dps/dpr team is Furina Bennett Kazuha team. In this team, I can see 160k+ charged damage with 220 cv MH set and r5 widsith. Need to add that Yanfei's only source of damage is not charged, in addition her charged, she has 2na damage (1 of them triggers vape) she has passive damage every charged, she has skill damage every 9 secs and she has burst damage once so a single charged actually exceeds 250k damage in total if we count passive and NA damages. I really reccomend you to play this team but you need to do hydro swirl burst with Kazuha because yeah she just applies so much pyro.
