seems Koji Kondo was really digging the hotbed of incredible composers in 80s Japan - here's the temp for Zelda's lullaby kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppm0ZH6DfbuLi9U ...would be amazing if someone more erudite in that scene than I am could trace and create a whole playlist of temps/influences that led to various iconic pieces of game music..

@@jengajokes thanks for linking that btw. Had no idea it stems from a Beatles cover.

Wished this was in the original LP as its last track. Would be a nice closer after all the chaos and unease of previous tracks.

Man I love this track and a lot of his other stuff (thank you so much by the way for what you do), but I listened to the rest of the album and it just was a bummer for me. I guess maybe he was experimenting or something but it wasn't peaceful like this track or any of his other stuff (that I know of). Either way, cheers, I hope you have a wonderful day/night!

A bit of a mistake on my behalf. It's new in the sense that it was unheard until this year, but the track itself was recorded in the late 80's - Kokubo doesn't remember the exact date it was recorded.
