The backroads of Kentucky always lead me home and the bluegrass region is by far the most beautiful area. It’s rich in culture and tradition that shapes everything from the food we eat to the bourbon we drink. Places like Shaker Village teaches us how to get away from it all and allows us to slow down and appreciate the past while Berea celebrates the uniqueness in us all through art and education. It’s no secret I love my home state but it’s the people that make it home. Georgetown is the friendliest city and welcomed us with homemade pie, bourbon, and a whole lot of smiles. Does it get anymore southern than that?

We have held our Kentucky Road Riders Rally in Danville for the past 2 years. Our motorcycle enthusiasts love the central location, the history and the beautiful roads. Danville has everything you need to experience the splendor of the Bluegrass.

Kentucky is truly a beautiful state with something for everyone! There's nothing better than driving the back roads from small towns, to distilleries to state parks. My husband and I did a week long Kentucky road trip for our honeymoon and I'd love to do it again! Kentucky has so much to offer!

The backroads of the Bluegrass are magical! We love the rides out Hammond's Creek, Jenny Lillard, Wildcat Road and of course the Salt River valley on Glensboro Road in Lawrenceburg, KY. And you can visit three different bourbon distilleries and two wineries along the way! =)

Danville, KY is a great place to visit. Don't miss the restored home of Dr. Ephraim McDowell (the father of abdominal surgery) and right across the street Constitution Square. Burke's Bakery is 1/2 block from there and is a fifth generation family business.
