Hi everybody, my new video is a real swing jazz classic: "Take the A Train" by Duke Ellington/Billy Stayhorn. As always, I varied the standard a bit to bring a little more groove into the melody. As always, the improvisation is very close to the comping chords. I love this song! All the best for your playing wherever you are . . .

Again, a fabulous arrangement for guitar. I'd been hoping you'd do this as it's one of my all-time favourites ever since I heard Stan Kenton's rendition of it (way back in the 1970s, when I was a teenager!). For some reason, I didn't get notified of this upload, even though I've subbed and have the bell engaged... so this has been a great day's bonus for me to discover. Next stop: your shop to purchase the TABs and jam track! Thank you, Achim, for continuing to put the time and effort into producing such superb content for us to enjoy, and for making all the tutorial support available.

So very good. I love that you even sneaked a few slight bends in there, so antithetical for some purists, but deliciously musical. :)
