Thanks to EVERYONE!!! Have a great Thanksgiving to ALL!! I forgot to mention... Keep your head up and in the chest so when you penetrate you don't get your neck caught in a front headlock or guillotine! Take care TMG Fam!!! 🤙🦃

You should do a series on how to takedown the bigger oppnonent im 130 5 8 and really all of my jiu jitsu is modified because of the weight advantage but im a hobbist but a guy like you who puts in all this time on the mats plus your following could make a good vid and really help the small get more taps or better positions to lay ground and pound in self defense situations.

I do Judo but your stuff actually helps a lot in understanding core principles. We are Not allowed to grab legs but what you show here can also be done with foot sweeps. You are an amazing teacher.

This was perfect. I kept getting into single leg position, but this one tall guy had super good balance and I couldn't reach his other leg for the trip and he was hopping when I tried to run the pipe. Now I know what I was doing wrong!

More wrestling/judo stand up stuff with big vs small.. in BJJ and striking there are lots of methods to deal with size, but big guys just dominate me in the stand up clinch.
@binaryglitch644 жыл бұрын
Agreed as a feather weight (I'm 60 keys) I'm often sparing with bigger guys and your right the stand up clinch game is the hardest. Would love to see more content like this. Bump to your comment.

m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpjZYaFqlqx5a5Y watch this video starting at the 2:22 mark. I use this throw from the clinch to toss college linebackers with ease. Works on everybody. Lots of triangle and armbar options once you hit the ground as well. Good luck
@redditateredditate96524 жыл бұрын
You can also get this specific clinch position (collar tie and overhook, gripping your collar tie arm) and then sit down and use butterfly hooks to sacrifice throw the guy over your body. Then land on top and triangle him from there. I’m a blue belt and I hit that shit on brown belts sometimes

Don't stand up clinch with a big dude. You're not gonna win
@rulesyaface3 жыл бұрын
@@redditateredditate9652 I can vouch for this one. I also find it works with an underhook as well if you can't get the collar tie.

I like hip roll takedowns and leg sweeps but if I'm going for leg takedowns I prefer double leg takedowns. Still good to have single leg takedowns in your repertoire.

For bigger opponents (most people guys are bigger than me, I'm not much bigger than Megan) getting outta the standing clinch is a struggle for me... maybe I should look more at the single leg takedowns.
