Thank you both for sharing your stories. You're both incredibly strong women! I'm from Namibia and in 2015 I also jumped out of a car that had two men in it. I had just come out from an evening church service looking for a taxi to go home and they pretended to be a cab and flashed the lights for me to stop them. As soon as I got in at the backseat after giving them my location, one of the men kept looking back at me in a very sick and twisted manner and I could tell that they were both intoxicated. They were driving in a completely different direction from my destination and were hatching some sort of plan of what to do with me without alarming me but I quickly picked it up from their body language and they guy who kept looking back at me really just gave it all away. That's when I knew that I had to get myself out of this situation FAST and luckily the doors were unlocked so I opened mine and yelled at them to stop the car. They started speeding and without hesitation I jumped out and they almost drove over my foot. They drove off and I got away with a sprained ankle and I managed to get help from strangers and safely got home. After that I had so much trauma I couldn't take cab alone after dark and sometimes I would have really bad panic attacks when I'm in a taxi and my surroundings are unfamiliar. So many men have gotten away with rape and murder in Namibia because they are never caught and I know that I would have suffered the same fate had I not listened to instinct. I am abroad now and it's so sad to say but I feel so much safer here and most of the time I just never want to go back home. Thank you Aus Lebo for this platform. You are what we have needed for a very long time!

This is a traumatic experience. During the 2021 unrest(looting) in Gauteng, I went out to buy yeast at a local shop, and it was finished, so I had to go to another one a bit further. From the first shop, a guy started following me, I didn't read much into it because there were too many people at the street. Before I could reach the second shop, the guy jumped on my back and a silver Honda stopped infront, another guy came out and they started dragging me , I fought for my life, I screamed and the people in the street stood there a watched. The guys we "my friend" came to my rescue and the two guys let me go and went back to the car and drove off. Even today, I'm still scared to go to the shops alone. I'm still asking myself so many questions on why me, I'm not even popular around my area.

My heart is in pieces how much women are not safe in South Africa for the purpose of sex 💔😢😔😪 I'm so angry how we are treated as just an object because you want power. There just no words I can say to heal these ladies and more ladies who experience this situation its just devastating. I pray for women who still experience this kind of inhuman experience please God pure your grace and rescue them. Catch these psychopath human they don't belong in society. This terrifise me I won't lie to be women in South Africa. One thing I don't understand with men is sense of not feeling a pain for someone. To be honest even in dating especially if you you do meet men who say they love you but as soon you sleep they take you just an object it's pains how a human being cannot feel a pain of someone else. I'm so grateful for these eye opening show because we learning so much. I pray for your healing for two ladies and bright future.

What comes to mind is sexual narcissism.
@sizakelediya40803 жыл бұрын
@@achatwithgoitse people are really really sick , I love Dr Rumani to bring light to me regarding narcissistic how dangerous it can be. In my family I grew up in that environment my father is narcissistic even though he was not in that level but he abusive behavior I still trying to heal even today. Everything is about him. I hope someday Relebogile can find a therapy who is exposed to narcissistic so that they can bring awareness of this disorder that is in our community. People talk about Mother's day and Father's day tears flow out in your face because 2 people who suppose to love they can't because they are not capable. You go therapy, you mean them you back to squire one.

Chriselda’s life was so traumatic. May God restore you girl. You definitely have a greater purpose in life to have survived that. Bukelwa I got shocked when you said Maponya Mall cos home where I grew up is Pimville and I went to school in Diepkloof. I could so picture the Bara rank. Lady, we thank God for your protection and wisdom. All that you watched and also learned(CPR) was not a waste of time but an investment (lack of a better word) for your safety. Chriselda’s Joburg outcome emphasised what I always thought growing up: “Don’t trust anyone with your life.” But this sounded like a breakthrough for you. I wonder what happened to that lady who sold you. I wish you all the best in life.

I have heard about district six but it was more of words but this story made me see and feel how it must have been like and how apartheid government has destroyed the fibre of the coloured people. I always somehow assumed coloured people had it better than us and hence they always seem to have a closer relationship with white people than the average with black people
