Takeoff Tribute Engraved using the 20 Watt Xtool D1 . ( Can It Engrave Canvas) Is It Worth the $$$)

Takeoff Tribute Engraved on a 8x10 Painted Canvas Using the X Tool D1 20 Watt laser . The image was scaled using Gimp before it was ran thru Da Big Gimping Plug In Dpi was set to 317 in Gimp .The image was then loaded into Light burn . My settings in light burn was 6000 mm Speed and 25% power With Passthrough Engaged. The Canvas was prepared with 1 heavy coats of Rust -oleum Gloss White Paint and Topped with A Coat of Gloss Black . . The burn took 1Hours and 38 Beautiful Minutes.

absolutely loved this video. How long did it take total to engrave. I have a picture that I tried to do all in image r then lightburn. Only for it to tell me 26 hours. That’s not right. Can you help me?

It sounds like your settings are off . In device settings it needs to be set to best for diode. MM per minute

How do you figure out the speed and power to remove 1 layer? Just test? I just did a 7 layer of a portrait...trying to figure out paints to use for skin color.

Lots of test I like to run a test on black and white of the image then I figure out where I Need my color to go . Then I layer my paint to match email me for the sweet spot test
