Crazy to think some people think I do it all. There is an amazing team of caretakers that care for these animals. Yes I get days off. Kinda anyway lol. If they need help I’m here. Never really to far from work. But everyone has a job and certain animals they care for.

I dint have a question I just wanted you to know I think you have the world's best job I have always loved the wolves even as a young child I was always mesmerized by them & to hear the howl was like they spoke to my soul ,,,I am lucky in some ways I get to watch several different black bears as they roam the neighborhood looking for trash cans to raid,,I got tired of cleaning up trash so I now have a old metal was electric frying pan that sits out all my food scraps goes in it the bear gets his food & my trash stays in the trash but I get to watch them as they come & go they don't always get lucky & find food I don't want them expecting it if they find it empty they go to the next can to make a mess & eat,,I hope your job never ends you are wonderful with these animals 😊

Thank you so much for the detailed videos and deeper understanding of what goes on there. It's a great help to raise awareness and education of how proper facilities function and the love and care given to the animals. One question I do have is are any of your animals captures, meaning captured from out in the field because they were a danger or in danger from other animals, or are they all surrenders or rescues?

It's an instinctual response to survive winter, so perhaps since the bear realizes he is safe and provided for with food, he overrides his instinct that normally would tell him to hibernate. Just a theory though.

When you clean the pens of certain animals, like the bear, hyena, lions, etc. Do you have an enclosure that you lock them in while cleaning so that you and they aren't in the pen at the same time?

Do the animals ever get any "toys" for "enrichment"? I read somewhere that this is a thing. I think if there were such a thing as Lion toys or wolf toys, people would be interested in their reactions. I wonder if putting one in an enclosure would cause fights? I wonder if they would ignore it? Or if they would be delighted......or mystified?

Do you ever catch any flack off off Brutus? I know the black bears aren't typically as aggressive as the Grizzlies, but does he ever warn you to stay away? I assume you have to go into his enclosure at some point or another. Does he get put into another enclosure when you have to go into his normal enclosure? Same with lions and hyenas now that you aren't supposed to go in with them. How is that handled now?
