I lived with my wife for just over a year in the Philippines before coming back to the USA. We used a fiancee visa. I always say this... KNOW your Filipina and understand how she will fit in and work out in your home country. Not all Filipinas are the same. Some will get a lot of attention and then want a divorce because they found someone better. Some will be homesick and not be able to handle being in your home country. There are many problems you could see happen. The more you know her, the more you understand her and she understands you and your situation, the better the chance of success of your marriage. I KNEW my wife. She KNEW me. We lived together for a year. Nothing more important than KNOWING YOUR FILIPINA. You can't know your Filipina by visiting her for 2 weeks or a month. That's a vacation. People are different on vacations. Also, I suggest not marrying in the Philippines, but get a fiancee visa. That gives her 3 months with you in your home country to know what she's getting into. This is how to create a successful marriage in your home country.

Great interview Ms Pea. I was an Immigration Officer (now retired 😁), so I have processed both K1 and K3 at the Point of Entry. The young man is spot on. I married my wife in the Philippines (it was what she wanted). I explained both visas. But she wanted to be married with her family there. I prepared the paperwork with what information I needed from her. Got the all the necessary paperwork completed (use a checklist) and submitted it. We were married in December 2015 and she arrived in the U.S. (with me, I went and got her) in October 2016. I already belonged to a Philipino church, so there was no problem with acclimation and loneliness. She had people here to help. But the big thing is, it's up to the Filipina on what she wants. I have a friend waiting for a K1, the problem was the medical (St Luke's in Manila). So that is still on going. I did visit my wife at least 3 or 4 times before tying the knot (this helps a lot). Note: all my paperwork and processing was done pre-Covid. Also, I did all the paperwork myself. I like the gentleman you had on, I can backup all he said was true. BTW, you should have asked his background. but do bring him back. Make him part of your experts you bring on. Again, thanks the best Filipina Vlogger on KZbin. Mabuhay

Each marriage is different with motives, goals, agendas. I brought my Filipina wife(42 years old) and her two teens(girl 13, boy 17) to the USA on a K1-visa. We did it ourselves and passed the first time without any problems. We spent 11 years in states, I didn't change but she did. She found power in making money and sending it to her family in the Philippines. We didn't have problems with MEN, had problems with her not being able to handle money. Out of the 12 fil/am marriages that we known in our small town in the states, 50% ended in divorce and it was mainly the couples with the biggest AGE difference. If I were to do this all over again, I would have never brought her to the USA, maybe for a visit but not to live there. SHE CHANGED and not for the better. Still married and retired in Cebu City. Good interview.

Ha, never date a RN in the Philippines that travels abroad for work. I managed to find the only woman that didn't want to move to the US! All kidding aside, while she was in her forties, had no children, and both parents had died, she was still very family oriented and didn't want to leave her siblings and other relatives. I'm really blessed in that I could have brought her here, she could have worked here and even sent more money home, or I could have easily supported her without working and still provided her with enough money to help support her family.

Perhaps in Part 2 he could address K-2 visas, bringing a filipina with a child to the US. I would use his service as it seems he has found some loopholes to work around problem areas. And the woman he mentioned in his office who schools filipinas about what and what not to say in the interview is priceless.

The financial side of having your Dreamgirl is sometimes heartbreaking, when you realise that you just can't make it all happen. You fall in love with them, but you have to let them go, like a prize catch that no-one believes you caught, but back in the ocean they go. Ate Pea, for us Afam, if you earn less than a certain amount, based on your currency, it is a hopeless venture to have a Pinay, as that will bring heartbreak instead.

This guy describes the things as so difficult and complicatetd in order being able to make his business. But believe me it is so much easier and you can do it by yourself easily. Back in 1999 when I did it, internet has just started, but not in the philippines, where communication was still difficult. Despite that, my wife managed easily to send all the documents so that I can arrange the visa, and the flight ticket. But things are not ending there, you will want the Filipina to get language certificate, driving license and even double citizenship and children citizenship registration. Everything is doable without need for a helpong hand. Why there are still so many westeners falling in for such a business man to empty their pocket for such easy peasy staff?
@chriselmore19693 ай бұрын
Thank you. I thought I was the only one thinking this. If you are a person who is not, or does not want to be organized and read carefully and follow instructions the yes you will probably need help. But, if you are the type person who is usually organized then the instructions and the process is all laid out for you. On the other hand, if you are the type of person who just has money to burn and you don't want to put in the work, then by all means utilize the service.
@haldepet123 ай бұрын
@@chriselmore1969 No one has money to burn a filipina is an investment in the beginning. Yes that time in my young years I had little money. However, even if there is a lot of money and you are not an organised person, by no means ask for a Filipino to help. They are not a help at all, they are a burden. It is so important that there is direct communication between you and your future wife and no one to disturb or mess it up. This is not only for money reason, but also for time and security reason.
@chriselmore19693 ай бұрын
@@haldepet12 I agree. My Filipina future wife and I video chat constantly. I mean all day and all night. We virtually live together to get to know each other and I visit twice per year for about 30 days. We should have been approved the past May, but instead I received an RFE/request for evidence. Apparently while filling out the I-130, I put some of my information where it should have been my wife's info. As a Canadian he is correct about a spousal visa. However, there is a slight loop hole to get around this. I married my Filipina wife in the Philippines. I was living in Saudi Arabia at the time and it only took her 5 months to get a residency card in SA. We lived in Riyadh for 4 years before deciding to move to Canada. I brought her into Canada permanently simply on her visitor's visa. Here is how we did it......We had already visited Canada a couple of times in the past (she had a multiple visa to get into Canada). We packed up all of our belongings into boxes and sent them to Canada two weeks before our move. We only brought with us on the plane a few suitcases of clothes (nothing in our suitcases to suggest we were going there for good). Once we got past Customs & Immigration in Montreal she was allowed to stay in the country as long as she wanted as long as we started the process of her Canadian residency card....even past the expiry date on her visitor's visa. This is only allowed for married couples.

That's a really good video Pea. I am sure this will help many couples. I personally hate this sort of paperwork so would use this service if I were to ever found a lover in the Philippines

Great informative interview Pea. You interviewing skill and follow up questions are always on point. You have excellent listening skills. You should interview this man again as he seems to know what he's talking about.

We used an immigration specialist back in the day. That was 47 years ago. It took a long long time to get her approved. We were sick waiting. Nuts!!!

My process took about 7 months i believe. The backlog is already worked through. I believe they worked hard to get it completed and now ones past mine are moving even faster at 5-6 months again.
