Here in western Canada. There’s been a new strain of kennel cough. About 3 weeks ago, my pup had a upset stomach and my cat was sick. Literally worst week ever! I got no sleep. Everyone was so miserable. Wishing Bruce a speedy recovery! Keep being such great parents J & C.

Who will take care of them, and stay at home with them. That's so nice. Jason I would say go for it! The love for Bruce is so beautiful to see and many can learn something from it. You know for yourself how much time and energy you have put into Bruce and what you get in return. A lot of people say I want a dog like that too, but don't realize what you have to do to get your dog there. The love you give Bruce you will get back in return. The costs you incur for Bruce's food are high, but that also pays for itself. Once again go for it, that way you show people how to keep your dog healthy and on weight with fresh food.

My American bulldog had kennel cough and the vet put him on a antibiotic.. Rico started to feel better with the medication after 5 to 6 days. The cough it self lasted about 4 days.

Do you have a raised feeder dish for Bruce? That might make eating easier and he won't take in extra air when he drinks. Typically the bigger the dog the better chance he can get bloat and that causes a sore tummy or can cause his tummy to flip. I know from Bloodhounds a raised feeder is a must. Bruce is Awesome I'm glad i found your videos. Rock on Bruce!

Raw egg yolks are nutritious, & on smaller pets that needs something special , I gave them the strained baby food in jars, is pure beef, chicken , liver.. but in BW case would need large amounts!! Gotta keep him hydrated, even if have to force feed.

I had a puppy and he had kennel cough when we got him and we didn't know. And he was so sick for a long time and the vet told us we had to put him down. We took really good care of him and survived. He had a great life and we enjoyed him until we had to put him down at 15 years of age. So yes kennel cough can be tough on our furry babies.

when both my dogs had it i was doing everything your doing but it got worse so i took them to the vet hospital and they prescribed them both cough medicine and the cough lasted 2 weeks

When my dogs have had kennel cough, I removed their usual "filtered water" for water mixed with a little added 3% hydrogen peroxide - to help thin any phlegm. Usually to 8 oz water, I'll add 3 drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide. I make a fresh cup of this mix several times a day...until the coughing stops. P.s., my dogs would cough with this mix, for less than 2 weeks, depending on how much they suffered from Kennel cough.

wait, so there was an outbreak at the daycare and they shut down for 2 weeks? When I worked at a dog daycare we were always sanitizing everything 24/7, on every shift. if we had a few dogs that became sick or were showing symptoms of kennel cough and such, their owners were informed (or they knew before us) and they just kept them home for at least two weeks or until they fully recovered. and we had no other cases. several yrs before I started working there I guess there was a major outbreak and every daycare in the area shutdown for 2 weeks. Bruce Wayne is a champ. get well soon Mr Bruce Wayne!!! I'm sure you're getting spoiled!!

My Zeusy picked up kennel cough at the spa and it was 2 weeks before he got better..I gave him home made bone broth twice a day and he is on the raw food meal plan. That bone broth made him pee alot, but I feel like it helped him as well. The vet said he was spoilt, but I say he is just well loved.🤭. Plus he got lots of love Good luck with Bruce guys. PS. Took 2 full weeks before it was gone and Zeus was feeling good again.

Ours lasted about 10 days but the fever could also mean time for antibiotics if it doesn't seem to work itself out. We had to IV and medicate ours by day 5 being told he went into pneumonia. We just had to check in daily with doctor and they did the exam in parking lot. Learned how to hang IV bag at home. Wishing best for your boy

Yeah I basically made the vet give me antibiotics today. I didn't wanna chance that at all. I know from personal experience Drs refusing to treat me and I led to worse issues.

Awe😞. We got our baby Corso and moved into a new house. Long story short..we both immediately ended up in the hospital almost dying. He got PARVO😭. We made it tho! Get well BW❤
