Thinking of making an endurance car out of one of these. Do they tend to have any overheating issues

I did have issues with brake fluid overheating, but that’s because of stock brake fluid. Didn’t have issues with overheating and I ran 3 races!

A larger intercooler and oil cooler would both be good ideas, as would higher temperature brake fluid.

How's the budget coilovers feeling in general?

Honestly they’re great! A little stiff on the daily driving but I honestly prefer it that way. I love how planted the car feels

TC Kline Racing makes a great set of double adjustable coil overs for this platform. They ride quite nicely for day to day driving due to Kline's custom valving reducing jounce and increasing rebound. Stiff jounce is what makes the ride feel harsh. I have a 135is and the TC Kline suspension rides far better than the BMW Sport suspension while offering adjustability and more wheel control. They actually end up costing less once a driver figures out they need better suspension and have to replace their budget setup.
