I think I’ve actually figured this out. It’s the shy guys. They are often overlooked because… well they’re shy and not the kind to walk up and asks you out, come over and ask to buy you a drink or worse have one just sent to your table, they aren’t full of themselves… Also usually need to be w/the right girl to bring this out in them. My husband and I were legit just friends at first, I actually was in a serious relationship when we became friends, after my breakup he became my best guy friend, three years later we were in a relationship. Never thought I would date him, let alone marry him, best damn thing I’ve lucked into.

He was physically, emotionally and financially abusive to me and my kids. I’m so proud of my kids to have broken ties with him. One of them even changed his name. They’d say I never tried to manipulate them into not having a relationship with him. They were old enough to decide for themselves. So, how dare you take my exes side and make me look like a whore by “laying” down with him. You really need to watch your mouth and think before expressing your opinion. Men slag off their exes as well you know. Women don’t have the monopoly on that kind of behaviour. I want to write so much more but since my daughter is able to see this as well I’ll keep it clean, so to speak.
