Hey Josh. Great video work and good job getting a PR on the KOM segment without a draft. The Bobbo Classic is a great event and where I started my cycling journey 8 years ago. Every year I use it as a motivation to improve my time up Bobbo East. Keep up the good work and vids!

Thanks for the comment Douglas! I'm also super impressed by the volunteers and how well the event is run, big props to everyone involved.

How many batteries did your GoPro consume for this entire vid?
@joshkwan Жыл бұрын
Surpringly just one! I've learnt to conserve my battery alot. I realised alot of the times the clips I put in (besides when talking to the camera) are quite short and theres no need to film for extended periods of time. This also does wonders for my memory storage :)

Hey instead of cutting the tails off your cable/zip ties, use pliers to grab the tail at its base and just twist around and around until it falls off. Leaves a nice rounded-off end and avoids any razor-sharp edges that can cut you or god forbid ruin another pastries kit.

Wow, I never knew this. I'll give this a go next event. Thanks!

How was the traffic management? for someone who isn't great on the roads could they ride it safely enough?
@joshkwan2 ай бұрын
Traffic management was decent, but a few portions you will be riding in the shoulder next to the road.
@michaelhitchcock83042 ай бұрын
@joshkwan that's OK, if they mitigate as many risks as possible you can't ask for more... cheers

How does the 104km Bobbin Head route compare in difficulty to the 82km Gong ride?
@joshkwan Жыл бұрын
The 104km adds on the West Head out and back. It’s rolling hills with a two sharp hills, but other than that I would say it’s not too much harder. You are also rewarded with an awesome view at West Head lookout!

Isnt it bad etiquette to have your lights flashing in a group ride. Its like a nightclub at the start line... Or maybe its a tactic?
