Someone else pointed this out earlier and it hit me as well...imagine, a man takes a big piece of cloth and a motor and he's flying like the birds...so crazy to think about but it works. Ofc there are risks involved...but if one is careful, you can really free yourself from the ground for a while and enjoy the beauty of our planet. I'd be afraid of ending up in the water so I'd hug the shoreline...but I guess Chuck is secure with his equipment.

I'm assuming you drive a car. Do you realize how many people get hurt or die every single day in vehicle accidents? Everything in life has risks. I here ya tho. I want to get into this sport. I know I'll regret it the rest of my life if I don't try. Just play it safe and don't take any unnecessary risks and you'll be fine. Good luck
@Chris-of6xm14 күн бұрын
@@lobbyrobbythank bro! I hear ya! I have thought many times about that. I ride motorcycles too but here's the thing, I understand tens of thousands of car accidents every day. Way more than paramotor but when/if something does happen.....it's not a little fender bender, it's serious and you'll probably have plenty of time to realize you're fucked. That being said, I definitely don't feel like I'm living right now, I'm just existing, no doubt in my mind when you're in the air with soaring the clouds one with earth, you feel alive. Irresponsible. You have no outs. 90% of this video is low over the water or in a congested city covered in trees. Did you ever think about what would happen if your engine gave out that far over the ocean? Your phone gets soaked you can’t call for help…how long would you be out there for before someone got to you? There were a few windows of opportunity for a landing when you were strafing the beach but most of it was congested city covered in trees. If you had to land you’d have been up a palm tree or I top of a building. Either way, more than likely in most circumstances, emergency services would have been involved to retrieve you. You are contributing to the regulation of this sport. Think about what you’re doing…
@ChuckyWright17 күн бұрын
I am thinking about what I'm doing and I'm more than capable of handling an engine out situation and landing in the water. I have flotation... I have my spot X transponder for emergencies. and I'm at no harm to anyone else, and this is not going to further regulate the sport because of flights like these
