I so love this video. You can see how she was nervous at first but with every right decision she got to trust Fsd. Only losing a bit in the parking areas that isn’t perfect. This is why FSD has to be totally solved before it is unsupervised.

Nice video. Your mom is really chill. I’m assuming the car is on v13. Idk if you already knew this, but there are 3 driving profiles: chill, standard, & hurry. Chill has the least lane changes. Hurry has the most aggressive. Standard like you mentioned is probably the best for her. She’s catching on quick! Happy new year!🎉

Do it man. I lost my grandma last year and we spoke daily. Wish I could take her for a ride. Me and my wife both have 3s. I wish I had a Y for her. We received a model X as a loaner once. She rode then and loved it.

I’ve been trying to get my family to use FSD in my vehicles when I visit home…. And they are JUST like Moms- homie. It’s so funny that they are very hesitant to allow technology to drive. I’ve tested the product for many years before we got to V13. It’s been a long ride my guy, but it drives wayyyyyy better than years ago. My CT is smooth with FSD. My MS driving family around down south- they almost had a heart attack my guy 😂😂😂 - but I really appreciate you putting this out there…. Especially for our community to introduce technology- despite the polarization of Tesla and its CEO. The product is safe and secure. I won’t speak on business owners, because we are surrounded by many controversial billionaires today. If that was the case, i wouldn’t be able to function daily with e-commerce, banking, products, big box stores…etc. So I concentrate on the product itself. If you love your family members while driving on these roads today with so many distractions- you would buy a tesla for its safety- security- and convenience- and cost savings in the modern era. Can’t stop the future- it’s here. Love your content brother!

Man, even just a year ago there would be no way your mom would be able to use FSD safely and comfortably. It would've been jerking around all over the place and requiring her to take over all the time. Shows how far it has come that pretty much any regular person can use it now. Great video!

It is crazy that you can do this without having to move the wheel every 30 sec, and the only thing I can do with my TMY is change the lane on only highways, by using the blinkers. It is almost like you guys in the USA have less regulations.

I just cannot understand the thought process of older people as to why technology is so scary. I mean I get it you didn’t grow up with it like I did but it’s been around for years and now we’re at a point where life is more simple than ever and old people act like it’s quantum physics lol now you can’t put too much trust in fsd it’ll definitely get you in trouble from time to time but majority of the time fsd is a god send. I drive an hour to work and this has saved me on those long 12 hour nights and have your car take you home every night.
