After years of searching for the 'key to life', I believe being present is it. That is where all our power lies. Not in the past or the future, one is a memory and one hasn't happened yet. It's amazing how simple yet complex it is to stay present, but it makes the most sense. I wish I would have learned that sooner.

Working in a nursing home here in Sydney truely opens your eyes to the daily challenges faced by the elderly, particularly when it comes to feelings of loneliness and sadness. Seeing Dorothy, at 102 years old, embark on this journey was nothing short of remarkable. This would have brought so much joy and excitement back into her life, and it has reminded me, and I bet many others, the importance of creating special moments for our elderly population, who have given so much throughout their lives.

What an incredible thing you did and the beauty of it was it was that it’ is so clear that the connection was genuine. My mother is 107 & 8 months old. Unfortunately dementia set in a couple of years ago. Watching this and thinking about the emotions I felt, made me realize how blessed both she and I have been. Well I'm 29 and have been unemployed for most of my adult life due to mental health and, sometimes, honestly using it as an excuse to convince myself that I couldn't do something but you know, I just found a job recently and I'm feeling great, people I work with are chill and friendly and I don't feel so lost anymore. Got my boss and my supervisor noticing and complimenting me on the quality and speed I picked things up, offering me alternative positions which are easier and with a better pay only a few hours ago as of writing this. I've been there for a month now. Things get better man, take it easy on yourself but try not to get as complacent as I did for all those years, it's a downward spiral that doesn't end until you decide to stop and start climbing again.

Being ill and disabled, I know I'll never get to live Dorothy's life. I'm happy I was able to pack 4 lifetimes in my first 30 years, and will be thankful for whatever comes next, even if it will be slower and way more challenging. But 1 thing I've learned from this, and what I get from this video too, is that the physical material part of an adventure is only the scenery. The subject matter is the connections and the people you have around you. I wish I didn't have to, but I'll gladly trade my adventures for love and connection. My discomfort may be different, and it found me all on its own, but the message is the same: just keep living. What else is there to do?

This Dorothy story / adventure made me choke up, laugh, cry, and reminisce... In our family we have 2 long lived grandpas (107 and 99) and one long lived grandma (89) unfortunately our other grandma flew up to heaven just before I crash landed on earth 30 years ago and I never met her. I lost my 107 year old grandpa just 2 years ago, and these two videos of Dorothy made me remember him vividly, and when my story is all said and done I hope I remember this video, I hope when I see my grandparents in the sky I will hug them like how I hugged them as a young lad.

This is the biggest motivation for many generations to come. Am inspired to leave my comfort zone to explore the world. As a young african son such adventurous "stories " are not common. For the first time this weekend am taking 15hrs flight from Africa to South East Asia Indonesia Bali. Thanks Yes Theory thanks Dorothy. Your spirit and determination will never be engraved in our hearts.

As a nurse who exclusively works with our elders…. This lady looks incredible! One barely finds 80-something yr olds who appear so young and vital.

KZbin video aside, real life wise, this is insane for a 102 year old to have happen for her and experience on so many levels and for them to endeavor

From a medical standpoint this is an INSANE feat and genuinely impressive and incredible! Just her physical and mental condition alone at her age is amazing and traveling this far at her age? Crazy

Knowing Dorthy was born in 1922 is just mind blowing. She is truly amazing! I aspire to be just a fraction as awesome as Dorthy. I hope all the best to Dorthy, and how amazing of everyone at Yes Theory for making this happen for her. So wholesome it almost hurts.
