@panther2552 all wrestling is derived from anacient greek and egyptian wrestling,not necesarily pancratian which was really nhb and came much later.Theres no real evidence to show sub wrestling existed in england as far back as the tudor era

Iranians and Egyptian were wrestling much earlier than the Greeks. Greeks are just famous because Europeans keep pushing them to prominence due to their cultural heritage on the Europeans.
