A neck crank as my instructors Gene LeBell and Gokor showed me.

Josh Barnett seems like a cool guy outside the ring. I think he is going to make a great coach as his fighting career comes to a close.

Every Catch wrestling guy...should meet and talk, and create an organisation and pass down all the techniques. Cause this art are almost lost.

Its very rare to find any cache wrestling these days but these moves can really badly damage somebody if done with no control

That for any thing, keep it real ,our tradition will be lost.

@@hairloss1899 , Some of the stuff like neck cranks really has no place when you can do face cranks and chokes

You say it rocks but when you cannot move your neck for months because of a jerk you wont like it. I am sure i wont. Its just too violent

Some great tips here. It's those little details that make your break your own grappling game. I have some catch vids of my own on my KZbin channel and the message is starting to get across to people from other arts of its effectiveness. Great video and channel. Like! ///and I just subscribes. Thanks for uploading!

I've used this move before and it works. But Josh is over complicating the instruction of this move. Fujiwara showed it more simply. 1.Turn the head. 2.Keep your hold tight, use your own head to secure the hold. 3.Create distance by moving your hips backward. This gives you room to leverage your body weight unto the neck.

So the keys is to turn his head to the side ; then press down with shoulder/chest( with a gable or S grip). Got it. I would never use this in bJJ
@unidielts5 жыл бұрын
Why? Because Catch wrestlers are the natural born predators of bjj artists? History has it!

ok maybe the neckcrank part is a no in GI competitions but I will at least steel the first part so I can get the head or arm when he rises up
@tangmingchen92376 жыл бұрын
I thought it’s more effective if you left his chin up, make your opponent look up to the sky, than spinning the neck.
