Only one time has he messed up which really wasn’t a mistake. I remember he stopped this one girl because she seemed to be rushing it a little. Everyone else disagreed but then she redid it and did even better. He apologized for stopping her but he still made her better so🤷

You can always tell when Simon knows that he’s found another Star. He gets that look on his face, with $$ or ££ signs in his eyes, and that unmistakable “Ka-Ching” sound coming from his brainwaves. Simon has also really changed a lot since he got together with Lauren and his Son Eric was born. Sometimes what we need most is the change in perspective and outlook on life that the love of a good woman and being a parent provides. He has his critics and haters, but no one can say that he doesn’t know what he’s doing. There’s no denying that he knows Talent - of any kind - when he sees it.

Simon gets nicer and smiles more the older he gets. Because in the first 4 season of American Idol, he was definitely hard to please, had a scary attitude towards others, and was a perfectionist. It is a good song. I was worried it was going to be another "bro country" anthem to pickups, beer, girls in daisy dukes and bonfires, but it was much deeper and nuanced than that. Good clever emotion-provoking lyrics with visual imagery as he daydreamed about his druthers. And a catchy melody line and danceable, hypnotizing rhythm. And he sings well. The genuine smile that appeared on his face as he was singing his own song -- even before he could realize it was having a positive impact on judges and audience.

I use to think so too lol but surprisingly It’s not staged… in fact that would actually be against the law/rules of the channel and/or program. The only thing that I would say is “faked” is the fact that producers audition contestants first before they audition in front of the judges and then the producers get rid of the TERRIBLE talent but still let some of the bad talent though in order to make the show good. (The shows almost got sued for that process for a number of reasons). I know this information because ALL of the “Got Talent” shows had full blown investigations into the production, judging, and literally every aspect of them (Mainly because of but not all due to David Walliams).
