I will never get tired of saying that hearing Barriss being called "The Healer" it's something very significant. Since she was a padawan, she hated fighting and it was very visible how the war began to affect her. She preferred to spend her time healing, and thanks to certain books we can see that side of her. In fact, Master Depa once commented that thanks to her, many had been able to heal (After the first battle of Geonosis). So we can assume she was always very good at it, and now we can see how she followed that path ❤

I think Barris was always motivated by love for the Jedi but she felt they had badly strayed from the path they should have been following - and so it wasn’t necessarily surprising that she was less than ecstatic with order 66. I loved these three episodes; the only bit I have struggled with was the ending, where she gets stabbed and potentially died: but I love who Barris has become by the last episode - arguably an ideal Jedi of the kind she wanted the Jedi order to be full of. And the way they dealt with her ageing in animation was fantastic.

Qui-gon only died because Obi-wan was a slow student and didn't know Force Heal. Most force users can do force healing but Obi-wan struggled with the basics and almost quit like a year before EP1. Most Jedi/Sith easily survive saber wounds because their master or apprentice can do a basic force heal on the way to the medic.

The Morgan arc was good, and gave us some big epic moments, but the Barriss arc is my favourite. Where Morgan was a dive into darkness, Barriss was a climb out of it. Considering her master was a very strict by the book, heavy on doctrine master I'm not surprised that Barriss' disillusionment with the Jedi was equally as intense. Under different circumstances she could have been Baylon Skol "I miss ..... the idea of the Jedi Order. Not the reality of what it became." Or even walked Ashoka's path. However she let extreme emotion lead to extreme action and found that it had led her here... Then obviously we start to see her have the realisation that she has ended up on a path far darker than she ever wanted to be and essentially has a fight for her soul as it were. Her words and actions when delaying the sister being a perfect mirror of the Grand Inquisitor's from when he was assessing her was a fitting touch in the third episode, flipping even that training into something for good. And in the end, we see that was likely also helping force sensitive people flee to the Hidden Path - I'd love to see a story set around that sometime.

I think the Friend Bariss mentioned is Ahsoka and somehow she redeemed herself. Going back to that less than a minute of Darth Vader. Pretty sure he was staring at Bariss. I was theorizing Vader finished what he started with Bariss at the Jedi Temple.

Umm Barris is a healer so I would assume she heal the other Jedi lady and they both go there separate ways because if they gonna show Barris and ahsoka see each other again it would be on screen and ahsoka have not mentioned Barris again as well

Admittidly, Barriss could still be alive. She and Lyn could have both seeked exile from the Empire to a planet in Wild Space or even the Unknown Regions and, perhaps both having had enough of war and conficts, decided to sit the whole Galactic Civil War out alltogether. Focusing on helping people who are in need. That would explain why We never see both of these charecters in the Original Trilogy timeline.
@DarkJediFarkas5 ай бұрын
Barriss never wanted for this to happen. She does not hate the Jedi. Why do people wonder if Vader will recognize her? He is the Superior of the Inquisitors. Vader knows who gets recruited and he does not give one fck about the candidate. 🤦🏾 Would be cool to see more of the Inquisitor training in the future. Maybe we will actually see Barriss or Lyn in other shows. An animated hidden path series maybe..? The VA from the Jedi did an amazing job with their emotions, i really felt that "I'm so tired and I feel so alone"

The Barris arc started strong but ended meh. Lyn I'm pretty sure we see her in Kenobi so she either takes Barris back the empire as replacement for not getting the child or if this is after Kenobi but before ANH they may have runaway to the path🤔
@loneassassin10156 ай бұрын
I am trying to find it to confirm but I believe The Way Out occurs after the events of Kenobi. Also the fact that Lyn clearly leaves her lightsaber behind is a pretty obvious point that she has found the way out in more ways than one (out of the ice cave and out of the Inquisitorus)
