I only liked the Barriss shorts compared to Morgan, but her shorts especially the last 2 felt like a teaser for upcoming projects.

I think you need to watch season 3 of The Bad Batch. Me and my son loved it. They really set the mood for the Empire on Tantiss and also the family feel for the batch and Omega. Great fighting too. Each character gets their due.

This format holds the benefit of TCW - Small stories happening within the wide universe of Star Wars, but it has Season 7 production value and it's not just limited to one time period. As you said, some of them will land better than others, but that sort of experimentation is what made TCW so dynamic. They should definitely continue making these. Also, I haven't watched Marvel's what-if series, but trying a Star Wars elseworlds story set in the World between Worlds would be a definite hit. I think this is where Fillioni's talents will excel...

I personally don’t find Morgan Ellsbeth that interesting. The last 3 episodes with Barriss were dope though.

The first 3 episodes were mid and not that interesting but the last 3 with bariss was awesome seeing what happened and what became of her and while we don’t know what her ending fate is it’s still so cool that she was able to let go of the dark side

Let down by this one, felt the stories weren't as interesting or dynamic as the first season. That 1st Barris ep wasn't too bad though. Not my cup of tea but maybe tales of rebellion will be good

It doesnt matter if they do something or not with these characters later. I mean, Doku is dead and we still liked his Tales of the Jedi episodes, we know aint coming back. But he is a more interesting character than Morgan or Barris. So I dont think them giving us more of those two characters will make these episodes any better, maybe just more relevant. I think the characters would've become more interesting if the episodes were handled a bit better. Morgan just wanted revenge but then she just becomes a b*tch and wants to bully everyone even if they didnt do anything to her, so dafuq is that revenge? And Barris story took a 360 way too quick on her character, that story felt rushed and its hard to connect with a character like that.

Honestly the first half of tales of empire was so unnecessary in my opinion and not interesting, but the second half with barris which was ten times better then the first half but its finale was so disappointing in my opinion.

Man they really gotta come up with some actually new stuff and get away from this time period in the Star Wars universe, like from the games tv shows movies like bro you have a whole ass universe to explore just seems lazy to me, keep rehashing the same type of story’s in this time period.
