@@jacktheflash8478 that does complicate things. If it's before it retcons Ahsoka meeting Sinube, but if it's after it retcons Jesse not being a shiny in The Deserter. So I guess it depends on which one people consider less important of a retcon. Also keep in mind that Ahsoka, Anakin, and Obi Wan's look were retconned because "This is how they were always supposed to look". So they shouldn't be used to pinpoint when this takes place.

Episode 5 further shows how great and ironic Anakin's training of Ahsoka was. He used the clones to teach her how to survive against many blaster wielding enemies far superior to battle droids, which prepared her perfectly for Order 66. He also taught her how to fight much larger and heavier lightsaber fighters like Grievous, which also prepares her for when she has to confront him as Vader. Anakin was such an unconventional but great teacher that he unknowingly taught her exactly not just how to fight, but survive what he would eventually become.

Explains why even Jedi masters like Mundi got taken down by the clones: the clones were truly effective at taking down any Jedi (maybe except Kenobi, Yoda and Mace). But Ahsoka trained to beat them, hence TCW finale makes so much sense now how she survived an entire batallion

Bro, a Tales of the Sith would be fire. If it was structured like this where it tells the story of too sith then I feel it gotta be Palpatine and Maul. Cause there's a lot of content of showing an animated version of their origin of how they both became sith. Palpatine killing Plagueis the wise and Palpatine takes Maul as his apprentice. The Darth Maul book "Son of Dathomir" being animated. Another strong contender would be Asajj Ventress with "Dark Disciples" being animated. All definitely deserves to be seen animated in Clone Wars style

Episode 5 intrigued me In the same way, Ahsoka trained with Barriss after the Battle of Umbara. Barriss was afraid of this training because for her it was a return to the horror called the battlefield. Maybe it's an ester egg, maybe not. I love Ahsoka's maturity and growth that we've seen, even just in this show. In the first half of episode 5 she's whiny, a complainer, and kind of arrogant. By the end of the final episode you can see just how far she's come. She is obviously much stronger/more skilled than this inquisitor, but she doesn't brag or taunt. She is calm, cool, and confident. Even better, she is extremely gracious, compassionate, and forgiving to that extremely foolish brother. There is no way that he deserved to be saved by Ahsoka from the inquisitor killing him or allowed to escape with the others on Bail's ship, but Ahsoka didn't hold it against him, or even get angry at him. It takes real strength of character to forgive someone like that, and it reminds me of how much God is willing to forgive us when we turn to him, even after doing so many awful things like this dude in the episode did to Ahsoka and his village.

The fight in episode 6 was the 6th Brother of the inquisitors. He appears in the Ahsoka novel, a little differently but his design in this was badass. The fight was drawn out a little longer in the book, but this show still portrayed it perfectly. The book made canon that red sabers are normal crystals the dark side user bends them to their will and forces them to bleed. In the book, Ahsoka gets her white sabers after defeating the 6th Brother, taking his crystals and healing/purifying them. Tales of the Jedi for being so short is easily some of the best Star Wars content from the last few years.

If we get another season of Tales of the Jedi, I hope they bumped up the number of episodes to 9 and at least do one of these storylines: - An arc set before the films in either the era of Knights of the Old Republic or the High Republic. Good way to introduce these eras to fans that don’t play KOTOR or read the High Republic. - An arc that follows an Order 66 survivor like Quinlan Vos - Something following Luke after Return of the Jedi as he tries rebuilding the Jedi Order. Take advantage of Mark Hamill’s voice acting talents to let him play Luke again

Now you understand why Ahsoka was skilled enough to survive Order 66 while Jedi Masters fell to it. She has Anakin to thank for that. 18:26 That's another detail that fits post Order 66. Vader converted Jedi or made younglings that he caught into Inquisitors. The ones that he saw had potential in the dark side. Instead of training them, Vader had them competing against each other for his favor. Trained? Yes. Experienced? Not really. It's likely this one had training but his skill level to Ashoka's was not even close. She's a veteran of the clone wars, has been through the toughest training due to Anakin, and has a ton of combat experience on her belt. This fight was over the instant it started.

The wisdom that comes with jedi mastery means no long fights, just quick defeat of the opponents. 2-3 moves. Based on samurais that the whole universe took inspiration in. Their weapons would break if fighting too hard. True masters need just one or two swift moves to win. Obi-Wan became that wise as we could see in fight with Maul. Same with Ahsoka.

Also yeah, the fight between Ashoka & the Inquisitor definitely reminded me of Obi Wan vs. Maul. They way he underestimated her skills. The fact he probably knew she was trained by Vader and still tried it 😂 simplistic, powerful and just like a samurai movie. No complicated fancy moves needed!

The fifth episode was short, but still gave us some important information. It showed us why Ahsoka could survive order 66 when the normal jedi isn't trained to deflect shots from so many skilled fighters at once. She had some extra training that was worth it in the end. The final episode is something special because the story is not actually new. It was already told with more details in the Ahsoka book. But the writers probably knew that the majority of the star wars viewers never read anything from the books and comics. On the other hand, the question how Ahsoka came from being a lonely order 66 survivor to being an agent of the rebellion is too important to be ignored, so they made a short summary. However, I still recommend to read the full story.

I know we all sorta understand Maul, but at the same time I think he is a very misunderstood character and I feel bad for him even though he is just a fictional character 😂

Good afternoon, Primate! Hope you are well! You're right, in that these events are absolutely KEY to what happens in the Star Wars universe. I love that they showed stuff with both Ahsoka and Dooku, and did you notice Caleb Dume in the Ahsoka episode? That was a HUGE surprise to me! I love how they connected these things and people. It all connected, it all rhymes, it all makes sense. Just how Lucas wanted! Edit: This training montage is precisely WHY Ahsoka survived Order 66. She had already trained to combat the clones. Edit 2: Ahsoka is much like Qui-Gon Jinn, in that she follows what The Force tells her to do. "All is, as The Force wills it."

10:48 Ahsoka is totally excellent as a jedi.. Besides Anakin's training she also has the spirit of the sister (Mortis arc) in her.. It seems like she is very much like Anakin but she can make the right decision at times when Anakin would make the wrong decision bottomline she is an excellent character

The inquisitor Ahsoka killed was The Sixth Brother. And after killing him Ahsoka purified the his red lightsaber crystal to make her new white ones. P. S. Let’s hope the survivors Organa took in wasn’t on Alderaan when the Death Star visited them in A New Hope

Episodes 5 and 6 were my favourites too (and I liked episode 4 a lot as well, of course). I think people were too hung up on either 1) it's Ahsoka and we've already seen a lot of her (I couldn't care less personally, she's awesome), or 2) retconning small details that basically have no effect; it's telling the same general story. I think it's worth it to make the fight in episode 6 that awesome looking. And not just that, I love the remix of Ahsoka's theme leading up to and during/after the fight, and again at the end of the episode going into the credits. Instantly one of my favourite versions of Ahsoka's theme (the soundtracks at those parts are "the inquisitor" and "Ahsoka is ready" if I'm not being clear or anyone's wondering).

I love your comment about how Ahsoka was trained by Anakin and the inquisitors were trained by Vader. So true. Ahsoka was trained by the BEST of Anakin and the inquisitors were trained by Vader’s abuse. Big difference.
