Have you heard the animals version of 'Hit the Road Jack? it is on KZbin. I think you will enjoy it. Very different to Ray Charles' version. Eric Burdon in full bluesy voice. You may also enjoy the Ready steady Go (RSG) live special with Otis Redding and Eric Burdon. Eric sings Hold On, I'm Coming' and there is a finale of Shake with Otis (it was his show) and his band and Eric. Very cool and a lot of fun. (Apologies if you have already checked them out, but I thought you'd enjoy them.)

@@lechatel Thanks so much for the suggestions, that is very thoughtful! I bookmarked "Hit the Road Jack" ages ago, but never actually watched - I'll have to check it out. Yes, that episode of Ready Steady Go is fantastic - I don't think I've ever seen Eric look like he's having more sheer fun. When he glances over at Otis Redding he's like "this is the best thing ever!" Highly recommended to anyone here who hasn't seen it.
