It’s really not a crazy age gap, people are just rude bcs society views slightly older women as unworthy for some reason. You guys are a beautiful couple 💜

4-5 years isn’t a lot. I consider true age gaps when it’s closer to 10 or more years, maybe starting at 7-9 years depending on the people. I would imagine that a 5 year age gap may feel like a lot if the people are at vastly different places in their life. I think I felt age gaps like that when I was a teen or in my early 20s, but when you get into your later 20s it’s less obvious. I think the people saying that to you are likely really young. If you didn’t say anything, I wouldn’t have known. You two are cute together 💜💜

4 years is not a lot and you guys were full fledged adults at the time when you met it’s not like he was 18-22

that's what I think too!! that the same age gap is so different at 24-29 vs something like 16-20 which wouldn't be okay

I am 28 and have grays too but I absolutely love them. 🤭 I am just glad you are doing what you really want to do!!

@@vatsalamansharamani1410 I’m trying to learn to love them! just not quite there yet, I recently at least switched to the semi permanent hair dye instead of permanent so that when I do fall in love with the grey, it will be easier to blend

I’m 35 and am still just hanging out with my random greys, which are aggressively silver against my dark mane. 😎

i think this is just a case of children run amok on the internet and spreading really juvenile opinions. a 4 year age difference is very normal/common and i couldn't tell who was older

I think its totally normal to! sometimes comments just get in my head but im trying not to let them :) and we met at the same stage in life so I feel like that makes the age gap even less

4 to 5’s is nothing. I know so many who are 8-12 years apart. However, sadly I’m aware that society will always be crueler if the woman is older and normalize it if the man is older.

It’s just because you are a woman, if it’s a man doing it even with bigger age gaps no one bats an eye. I recall how my own family was ok with a 26 year old handsome man (customer of ours) looking at me when I was just 17. Just an example, have hundreds though

My boyfriend and I have almost the exact same age gap and met at the same ages as you! He was 25, I was just about to turn 30. Now he's 31 and I'm 36. He teases me a bit about how he was only 13 when I started university, but he always liked older women and we were both adults 😅
