@johnbrereton52293 жыл бұрын
@@tomcampbell9081 Yes indeed, but has the BBC enough intelligence and self respect left to realise it's own self inflicted dilemma? For the once world renowned and highly respected BBC is now sadly a shadow of its former self. After losing subscribers and audience hand over fist relentlessly day after day. While Farages show here on the newly established GBNews attracts twice as many viewers as the BBCs top news programmes. Any intelligent business analyst would tell them that their constant diet of Woke propaganda is only suitable for dictatorships like Noth Korea. Not here in a free society where people can walk away and chose something more balanced and factual.
@tomcampbell90813 жыл бұрын
@@johnbrereton5229 you say balanced and factual but you are talking absolute waffle. His show had more viewing figures than BBC news on two occasions. Once on the launch night and once in December for his trump interview. Looking at average figures online, you are realistically looking at a third as many viewers. If you want to watch Nigel enjoy an interview I suggest watching James O'Brien tear him a new one in a revealing interview

@whichwaytothepostoffice33613 жыл бұрын
@@julianp4787 I could mention a few points that I didn't agree with: saying he doesn't mind paying tax but only when making a profit and only if he knows he is going to make a profit, saying Government should be entrepreneurs?? They shouldn't - they should run our country and definitely not like a business. Saying there are opportunities with Brexit, but even Theo himself has said many times before 'he reluctantly voted to leave' - and I think he of all people should have known better about the effects of Brexit and how it would result in less opportunities. Saying the government (Boris) should just say sorry and move on? More like Boris should just resign and leave - an apology alone wouldn't work for me. Also, defending Millwall supporters because other supporters also do bad things isn't the best. Is it? It shouldn't happen regardless. And Millwall fans are notorious for what they do and have done in the past - there is no smoke without fire I'm afraid.

With the crazy charges being imposed on delivery trucks, it must drive shops out of town. Already so many shops are empty in towns which should be vibrant, prosperous places that people want to spend time in, seems like our leaders are doing the opposite.

Government taxes and council business taxes on retail and hospitality, while allowing the global digital locusts and global chain outlets to reap it in tax-free, have destroyed hundreds of thousands of shops, restaurants, pubs etc. For many people trying to earn a living with honest local enterprise, our governments and local councils are their worst enemies. Massive reform needed. Tax at the source of income. And tax profits, not effort. And smash the farcical "self-employed" status of the corrupt gig economy.
