I’m American, can speak German & living in Germany now. It really cannot be understated how incredibly hard it is to be that funny in another language, especially off the cuff like that. How deep his vocabulary is and his ability to use the most perfectly ridiculous sounding word in any situation really is unbelievable. In a year of living in Germany I can count on my hands the number of times I’ve been able to make a joke in German that actually elicited laughter.

So, when Conan and Flula traveled to Berlin, they went to this nudist beach at a lake that is very close to where I grew up. The lake is called Plötzensee. It is still so, so strange to me that THE Conan O'Brien went there! Every time I go for a walk in this area I have to think about how insane that is. It's even more amazing that I was actually able to meet Conan and to shake his hand at the Wilde Renate club where he was performing with a BDSM influenced music group onstage... ^^ He's the best!
